Introduction Great White Sharks are endangered. Here are some facts about what they look like, what they eat, where they live, why they are endangered, what might happen if they become extinct, and how we can help the Great White Sharks. I chose this endangered animal because my name means shark and the Great White Shark is a shark. I also chose the Great White Shark because I think they are really. They have lots of sharp teeth and have a cool fin. Description Great White Sharks are giant sharks, almost as big as a school bus. They can grow to about 15 to 20 feet long. They have a big fin and have sharp teeth for their protection. They have tough skin to protect them from threats, such as hunters. They have a scaled upper body to blend in with the rocks on the seafloor. Food Yum!! Younger Great White Sharks eat fish, sting rays, and also other sharks. Adult Great White Sharks eat larger animals, like sea lions, seals, belugas, otters, and also sea turtles. This shark, like other sharks eat carrion, or dead animals floating in the water. Great White Sharks do not chew their food; they only swallow their food. Habitat Great White Sharks live in cool coastal waters in every major ocean around the world. However, they are most commonly found in the waters of Australia, South Africa, California, and Mexico. They can be found in shallow waters of 1 meter deep and or in the deep ocean, up to 1,200 meters. Threats Great White Sharks are endangered because they are being hunted. They are being hunted down for their fins and also for their teeth. They are also being hunted by people to use as sport trophies. People also make food out of them.

Endangered Animal The Great White Shark population is going down. If we don't save them soon there will be no Great White Sharks anymore. The are endangered. I think a possible solution is that government should pass a law stating that people can’t hurt the Great White Shark. If the government passes a law, the Great White Sharks may have a chance to repopulate. Help We can help by… ● First, we can write letters and ask government officials to pass laws outlaw hurting Great White Sharks, or any endangered animal. ● Also, we can protest against and not eat any sharkrelated food. If people don’t buy sharksasfood, then the hunters will run out of money and then will stop hunting the Great White Shark.
