APOLLO / SELFPROJECT / 2012
Apollo its’s a hand blender for Electrolux and is a response to a need detected throught investigation and everyday experience. Apollo is not only a hand blender, it’s much more. Thanks to its modularity Apollo fullfills gaps detected in terms of recycling and reusing but also your expectations as a kitchen appliance.
The core of this product is its engine, an independent capsule that can be used with other kitchen appliances, so we only need one for various appliances, instead of one per product. That’s Apollo’s aim, help a little bit with our everyday products but greener. Tags: green, recyclable, recycled, reuse, new experience.
e-trash: home electric appliances trash.
20kg/per year of e-trash are generated by an European.
4.700tn/per year of e-trash are generated in Catalonia. (2006)
140.000tn/per year of e-trash are generated all over the world.
3 electric engines average per kitchen at home.
80% of enviromental impact and production costs are set through design process, so the solution provided is...
...one engine to efficiently rule them all.
HOW IT WORKS + +
Plug Apollo Engine to different accesories provided and there you go! But in case you need to replace your engine, just don’t throw all to your nearest recycling point, just replace the Engine Capsule. And Apollo it’s not only a hand blender, it’s also a hand mixer! Two in one.

EXPLORATION AND PONDERATE NEEDS INTO ONE SHAPE
WALLBUS / MATD STUDENT / 2006
WallBus is my thesis project of MATD and it’s for TMB of Barcelona in wich I explored how next generation public transport would be. FEV based on Hydrogen Fuell Cell. WallBus it’s a bus for Barcelona. All vehicle it’s made of recyclabe materials and some of them are already recycled, mostly of them applied on interior objects, like floor or textiles. It also interacts with environment with screens that
sorrund part of the vehicle giving information like weather condition, sorrounding air quality or even local advertisement depending where the bus is. From concept to the final proposal, a wide range of vehicle types were explored, from a semi-private transport vehicle to a high-density public vehicle, which was the final proposal.

BITCARRIER / SORO / 2010
BitCarrier is a high technology company wich develops products for measuring people and cars flows, to predict situations like traffic jams. The aim was to delelop a casing for electronic components. A production in short series allowed us to develop a non plastic case,

We managed to mantain a low-cost production due to it’s easy constructive, which are two blended laser cutted aluminium sheet, giving a sophisticated and milestone quality appearence compared to competitors.

EXPERIENCES
PLAY WITH ENVIRONMENT / WORKSHOP WITH SHIN AZUMI AT BOISBUCHET / 2011
Play with enviroment is a workshop held by Vitra Design Museum at Boisbuchet and conducted by Shin Azumi. The aim was to create a work which enables you to share the moment of excitement with other people without using language, hand over your vivid feeling to other people through experiencing your work. Our inspiration, all Boisbuchet.
I worked with Hisn- Chie (TW), Haruka Nakazawa (JP) and Ly-Ling Vilaysane (SW) and our aim was to bring to people the powerul feeling of flying. We searched a spot and developed diferents ideas and proposals to reach our goal and maximize it. The project was an absolut success thanks to our collaboration and also because we were from differents countries and
backgrounds, so we approached to a more universal solution. Sizes: 1300 x 500 x 400 Materials: wood, foam, ropes, synthetic fabrics, threat.
