Safety, Security & Environmental (SSE) Manager

This position is responsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Safety, Security and Environmental (SSE) programs and processes at the plant.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum 4 years of experience in Safety & Environmental leadership or a related discipline in a smaller facility.

Functional/Technical Expertise:

This position will require in depth knowledge of OSHA and state standards as they apply within the facility, in depth knowledge of EPA standards as well as demonstrated ability to interpret state and local regulations as they apply, and knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques in identification of key facility improvement opportunities. Candidates must also have proven ability to understand and apply security principles in an industrial setting. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma is preferred.

We are looking for an experienced Turret Operator to work day shift in the Albert Lea, MN area. Candidate must have operation and setup experience to be considered for hire. Position Summary:

Physical Demands:

• Setup and operate Turret fabricating various sized material working from verbal or written instructions from supervisor, setup, manufacturing instruction, blue prints and/or production schedules. Perform quality inspection of parts, insuring proper completion of paperwork as well as accurate recording and handling of scrap.

• While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and/or move up to 75 pounds. • The above reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified, and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work required that may be inherent. • Candidate must be comfortable with a background check and drug screen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate and setup of Turret machine. • Load programs and tooling • Check parts to accuracy of prints. • De-burr parts as necessary. • Maintain orderly working and storage area. • Perform additional related duties as required. • Adhere to principles of the company’s Quality Management System and Employee Handbook.

Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one year experience and/or training: or equivalent combination. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
