Albert Lea Parks and Recreation to open two of city’s play parks for activities
Albert Lea Parks and Recreation staff will open two play park buildings this summer for children’s activities.

The play parks at Academy and Hawthorne were expected to open June 7 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Play park leaders will have different activities and crafts planned throughout the day.
The department will also plan some rec-on-the-go activities at various other locations throughout the summer. The locations and dates had not been decided as of press time.
