AC 8th of May hello light my old friend, hello, my name is Alberto Chagolla. I am currently a Senior at Harbor high, and i will be graduating high school in 2017. After high school i dont really have any plans for a career just yet. i would like to major in History , but i would like to go to Cabrillo and hopefully be able to transfer to Berkerly or Davis. Throughout my time at Harbor High ive had many classes that ive enjoyed and classes and that i havent enjoyed. I have had the classes that i required to have such as math, english and pe and some sort of science or language, but the class ive enjoyed the most of them all would have to be my consturction tech class, we are at the moment building a porch extention for the class and before that we built minature houses built to building requirements. But also we had a BBQ once which was a lot of fun. Most of my classes do not relate to my future goal, but next year hopefully ill be building up so i cam transfer into a UC i want to go. At the moment im taking ROP Graphic Desgin 2. I have taken AP US history and Ive taken Physics which was a fun class. I also took Honors Government, and now Im in Economics. In ROP Graphic Design I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and illistrator, I was taught how to create posters and letters for things and stuff. i was taught how to more creative when it comes to advertising to people with flyers and posters by using things such as contrasting colors or different color pallets or things that relate to that. yeuh. I also have gotten use to using a Mac. At first i hated using a Mac and I still do just i got use to using one now. I havnt worked for any clients other then the theatre department that was asking for a poster for their play, i did not win but i was able to complete that. In the following portfolio you will experience the Alberto Chagolla graphic Desgin experience and see the mind of Alberto. It contains work and assginments that I have completed over this last two semesters. Such as the magazine cover and game cover, I hope you enjoy my work..

Applications used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Class Name and Instructor: Graphic Design 2, Mrs Angelacos Time Frame: 2 Weeks The name of the assignment was Resolution and Image Formats i needed to provide 9 images and change their format and their resolution. The requirements were that i needed to complete to the specifications that were presented to me on the DM pdf. There wasn’t much of a difficulty with this assignment, due to having the instructions right next to me. What i enjoyed of this project was the picture i worked with, the man who took a picture with his cat.

Frame by Frame Animation Applications used: Adobe Animate CC Class name and Instructor: Graphic Design 2, Mrs Angelacos Time Frame: 2 Weeks The name of the assignment was to create an animation by using a bunch of frames playing in a sequence that would create an animation. The requirements were that we had a to make animation using 30 frames at least. I learned how to create an animation using frames playing all at once, and i learned how to use Adobe Animate CC. The challenging part of this assignment was getting the frames to look the same but different at the same time so that it looks like it’s all one frame. I enjoyed this assignment a lot because I liked creating animations, i created a secondary animation, a sequel you may call it, to my assignment animation.

03 Tier ra Pacifica Flyer
Client: Tierra Pacifica Applications used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop Class name and Instructor: Graphic Design 2, Mrs Angelacos Time Frame: 2 Weeks This assignment was called the Tierra Pacifica Flyer, i needed to create a flyer for the school Tierra Pacifica. We were required to create a flyer using the context that they provided, it had to be in english and in spanish. I learned how to create a good flyer that wasn’t rushed and was nice, as well as learned how to create something the client looked at with thinking it was a joke. The challenging part of this assignment was getting the three circles that contain the three pictures in the middle aligned well, other than that it was not really hard. I enjoyed this assignment because it was fun creating something someone else wanted for their school, even though mine wasn’t chosen.

The requirements were to design something they liked and would represent the fall play well. I learned how to trace things and make them look older than they are. The challenging part of this assignment was how to and where to place the text. I enjoyed this because I am a theater kid, so it was fun designing a flyer for the play i worked on.

Application: Adobe Photoshop & Illustator Time: 2.5 weeks In this assignment we were required to recreate a cover of a magazine of our choosing, but changing thing slightly too create difference between them. I learned how to use gradients early on in the year, with help from other student I was able to accomplish this with ease. I enjoyed making a magazine cover of one of my favorite consule games that I played as a kid growing up with the early model of the xbox 360
