THOUGHTS OF NANUSHKA DOMINATE THE STAGE
After months of rehearsal, the APC Dancers last week delivered their fantastic new performance to full houses at The Lawler Theatre in Southbank. The Dance Show is of course always one of the creative highlights of the APC calendar.
In keeping with the college’s creative traditions, “The Thoughts of Nanushka” is an original APC production, choreographed by our Artist in Residence and experienced industry professional Jordan Bretherton. The dance is based on the poems of Nan Whitcomb, who writes under the name Nanushka.

The performance expresses the thoughts of people from all over the world, regardless of their age, gender, race or faith, expressing memories of a broad range of emotions and reminiscences about loved ones in past, present and future tense.
No fewer than 22 dancers from years 7 to 12 who participated in the show. We wanted to give a special mention of our senior dancers who have worked so hard at perfecting their craft over several years: Annabella Plano, Charlotte Richardson, Evie Cunningham, Haylee Winduss, Kate Peterson, Mia Kamarinos and, and Sophie L’Enfant.
Our dance coordinators Nicole Kelly and Meran Paice and the APC team who supported them did an amazing job once again and the college thanks everyone involved for their dedication and creative drive.
