pavilion 2nd semester major project mentor / Ar.Jayaprakash V.N the pavilion is designed for a veterinarian Doctor in Peppara wildlife sanctuary. the form evolution and material selection were based on the site conditions and user acivities.
the block is then divided into zones of private and open areas by considering the water body infront.
from a visual perspective, horizontal planes blends more with the environment. so a wide rectangular form is choosen as a basic form.
private open a semi-open area is created by putting wooden pergolas adjacent to the water body. added roof extends to the private area.

residence 4th semester major project mentor / Prof.D.K Anand the residence is designed for 4 characters of the movie ‘Ustad hotel’. the interior spaces are designed in such a way that it resembles the likes of the character in the movie.
the basic linear rectangular form is choosen because the site is narrow and linear. a sloping roof facing the main road is added to block the polution and traffic sound. an additional varanda to reduce heat from sun.
varanda and sloping roof is added sun. double height glass windows are added for good light quality inside the house. terrace areas are kept at south-eastern side to reduce heat gain inside the house.

five star hotel 6th semester major project mentor / Ar.Keerthy J.S the 5 star hotel project is a tourist hotel which resembles the local context of Kerala. the design evolution were besed on the contextual analysis of the site and nearby site features.
