CSI SCIENTIFIC METHOD PROJECT PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Your group will create a crime scene where you will provide concrete evidence on how the crime was committed, whether your group plans a murder or a burglary case. OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to apply the scientific method in the planning process of each case as well as the resolution of the opposing groups’ case. INSTRUCTIONS: • • • • •

Decide what sort of crime has been committed for your case. Write a brief descriptive paragraph that explains a little about what happed. Plan and draw the distribution of evidence within the scene. Create 3 different profiles for the possible suspects. For the profile you must include a picture of the suspect, personal information such as name, age, sex, visible scars, copy of finger prints, blood type, hair color, skin color, height, weight, relation to the target of the crime and occupation. Include alibis and where the person was during the time the crime might have been committed. Your crime scene must include concrete evidence that might aid the other groups to hypothesize whom might have committed the crime. I need you to turn in: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
