The President’s Alumni Scholars Award recipients will receive the following: • Full cost of attendance for four years (covers tuition, fees, room & board, books, supplies, etc.). • Non-Louisiana resident value: approx. $50,000 per year. • $2,000 study abroad stipend. • The opportunity to earn up to an additional $1,550 per year by participating in the President’s Future Leaders in Research Program.

Scholarships are based on cumulative GPA and standardized testing scores. All applicants will be considered and there is no separate scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded at the time of acceptance. Academic scholarships are reserved for entering first-year students and are awarded for four years, provided the student maintains the GPA requirements provided with the award at the time of admission. These scholarships provide financial assistance to students with strong academic ability and achievement and are awarded based on a student’s GPA, course selection, and test scores (if submitted). As a test-optional school, SAT/ACT scores are not required for consideration but will be reviewed if provided by the applicant during the admission process.
Presidential Scholarship:
• Scholarship award range for the 2020-21 academic year: $27,000 - $33,000. • Retention criteria: Full-time enrollment (12 credits), minimum cumulative GPA: 2.75.
