We all should stay focused on cryonics inflation, especially in this time of rapid increases in prices throughout the economy. The imminent increase in the minimum for whole body members helps bring attention to this continuing challenge.

9 Case Report Implementation of the S-MIX

The S-MIX (Standardized Measure of Ischemic Exposure) is a case outcome metric that quantifies the equivalent total ischemic exposure of a cryonics case. The S-MIX has been successfully calculated for most Alcor patients for the meta-analysis project, and now it will also be an important component for each new case report

12 Recent Advances in Dementia Diagnosis

With prospects grim for treating dementia once it is diagnosed, there is especially strong interest in early detection. Treatment might then start years in advance of the main symptoms, and overall, perhaps obviate these symptoms or greatly reduce their severity.
