Why do this? Employers today look initially for a good range of subjects secured at a high level. They want you to have achieved and exceeded your school targets; to be literate and numerate with grade 5+ in English and Maths.
However, they also want you to develop the life long skills of:

During your time at Aldersley you will need to take a number of . As a school we will provide you with opportunities to participate in a range of experiences.
There is an online programme where you will need to record your participation in them and your Form Tutor or ASL will authorise them as being completed. Easy!

In the Dinning Hall, your ASL and Head of Year will advertise up and coming projects you can get involved in as a form or a year group. They may even track your progress as a year group with a series of steps around your year poster:

There will also be a display of your out of school successes in the science corridor. Anytime you do something wonderful out of school, tell your ASL who will celebrate it with the rest of the school. From sports medals to Cadets; sponsored activities to performances‌ it all counts!
