Each interior floor is not directly connected to the exterior glass walls or roof that surround the museum. This allows for greater air circulation and a feeling of unity amoung the floors, as well as not hindering in the height of the cieling due to slanted walls.

MOCA’s Geometery it relates to urban context Material choice and glass exterior as surfaces The interior and exterior materiality of MOCA is largely symbolic. The mirror finish black rimex glass exterior reflects the outside environment and surrounding context, hence signifying the infinite sky.
