how to get started ----------------------------------------------------------
step 1 | design direction COLLECTION Choose from our existing designs. We will work together to fit you and your event changing any colors, type choices, and wording. New ideas and elements can also be added to make it your own. FULLY CUSTOMIZED Start from scratch and work with us to create your perfect vision. After an in-depth discussion, we will pull together an inspiration board of type, colors and images to confirm your design direction. Once your visual board is approved we will then translate this into a number of different directions for your project.
step 2 | quote Submit a request for a personal quote. Use our online form and fill in as much info as you can. We will email you back with a project quote. OR DESIGN CONSULTATION Call or email us and we will discuss your project (style, mood, budget) in person or on the phone so we can better understand your vision. We’ll send you an estimate for your approval via email.
step 3 | submit order +
DECIDE ON WORDING
Once you decide you want to work with alee, we will email you with order details, contract, & a project timeline. A 50% non-refundable deposit of the estimated price is due before we start the design process.
step 4 | design proof We will begin the design process & send you digital proofs for your approval. Any necessary copy & design changes will be made until everything is perfect and ready to be printed. After your approval, your project will be moved into production & a final invoice will be sent to you. *review meetings take place over the phone, skype, in person or through email.
step 5 | printing + SHIPPING
We will get to printing and your project will be finished within the timeline we agree upon in your contract. Your finished pieces will be hand inspected and carefully boxed up and shipped to you. The final invoice is due prior to shipping.

it’s always polite to write a thank you note to guests, ordering with your suite will allow you to use prior to the wedding for any showers, or parties.

the return address on your outer envelopes can be letterpress printed or hand calligraphered. a rubber stamp can also be used for a more casual look.

letterpress inks We use soy based inks and mix them to match all pantone colors or color swatch. Letterpress inks are transparent and work best when printed on lighter colored materials. Light colored inks will not show up well on dark stocks. White ink is available and will work on some darker stocks with a slight tint of the underlying color. We are happy to show examples and will always let you know if the results will not be desirable.
NEED A SAMPLE COLOR SWATCH ?
Please note that metallics inks don’t appear shiny when printed on cotton stocks. If you would like it to look metallic we suggest foil stamping. If you want a more subtle look or just the color then a metallic letterpress ink works great.
