DESERT CASINO

Spring semester 2020 - Third Year

The casino is formed by topographical grids that emerge from the desert and start metamorphosing the structure. The grids push, pull, and twist the

parts of the structure become fragmented. The arched doorways of the casino extend past the building and start to form boundaries in the desert landscape. Penetrated by the grid, casino roofs layer and overlap to create an illusion of a complex interior space. The interior space of the casino visitors to freely explore and circulate between tables and slot-machines. Detached by the frame starts to behave like a living organ that connects the casino and is being interrupted by the chapel and entertainment spaces which emerge from the ground and of programs creates an access for vehicles and visitors. The remaining architectural elements of the hotel evolving into a shape that has yet to be determined and discovered.
