BAZZINGA BALANCING YOUR KNOWLEDGE AWARD FOR BEST EDUCATIONAL PROJECT ITESM MAY 2010 IN COLABORATION WITH: NATALIA DIAZ / ENRIQUE POZO BAZZINGA is an exciting balance game balance that allows you to discover places that are characteristic of Mexico:Guanajuato, Cancun, Oaxaca. BAZZINGA promotes historical knowledge, teamwork and guarantees fun for hours. It is designed for children 7 to 10 years of age. This game was designed for the program MAGICO PAĂ?S by a small organization called PequeĂąos Gigantes, which is responsible for supporting children in foster homes that face problems of domestic abuse or neglect. BAZZINGA seeks to foster in children, through knowledge, a sense of belonging and identity of Mexico.

DESIGN PROBLEM The project’s main customer for which the product is intended, are children living in foster homes. These children have a serious problem, because their families are disfunctional, which will generate a delay in physical, cognitive and emotional, this implies the existence of a physical or psychological abuse, neglect or sexual abuse by their parents or heads of households. SKETCHING

BAZZINGA is an educational toys that stimulate learning and fun for hours. The objective is achieved between the children a sense of belonging to Mexico and teamwork. Bazzinga is a game through a parapodium, where 5 children climb on each side of the Pentagon. Inside the game, there is a maze with 3 different boards of the city of Guanajuato, Oaxaca, and Cancun. The challenge for players is to create their own path to get to know the important places in the history of Mexico and work as a team to bring the ball to the various sights of the city.ties.

We are living in an age by which many technological advances are emerging, and there is a boom in electronics innovating with new technology. Many of which include Internet, 3D, 4D or even devices with touch screen sensor technology such as Kinect. Our project we focus on the metaphor of a waterfall as the cascading water, when hitting the water below, makes a projection of a rainbow. So in our concept, this is applied by a virtual reality of holography

SYNTHESIS Ensures the acoustic comfort, providing in turn the originality of the project, using a kinect technology, motion sensors, and holographic projections of an interesting way. PASSION The relief of the panels creates a feeling of wanting somehow interact with the product without leaving aside the experience that produces innovative integrated system.
