NORTHWEST SUMMER ART INSTITUTE Summer Workshops 2019

NORTHWEST SUMMER ART INSTITUTE Summer Workshops 2019

The Northwest Summer Art Institute is dedicated to the expression of the strong relationship between art and nature. The NSAI offers a summer session of learning and experiencing—a combination of classroom learning and the expansion of the senses which comes from outdoors activities, observation of nature, and the use of found and natural materials. Workshops are scheduled at various sites in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, taking advantage of the beauty and variety of outdoor venues of the region. The NSAI is partially sponsored by a grant from the Washington Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. 2
