CURRICULUM VITAE EDUCATIONAL Master degree in Landscape Architecture at University of Genoa - 2016 Bachelor degree in Architecture at The Polytechnic of Turin - 2014 Artistic high school diploma - 2010 SKILLS Artistic
Alessandra Torre I’m a hard worker. I think I have the skills and the passion to handle a wide variety of tasks and, everything I don’t know, I learn it quickly, with the maximum commitment and enthusiasm for new challenges. I can define myself creative and open minded, I work nicely as part of a team as well as on my own. I've got excellent hand drawing skills and ability to generate conceptual sketches using different media. I feel myself very bonded to the aesthetic and cultural values of my homeland, Italy, but I like to travel and have the chance to merge them with other cultures’ values and trends. I’m looking for the opportunity to show what I can do and improve my skills and knowledge by learning everyday from the people around me.

WORKS 5
Master degree thesis work.
Recovery of an abandoned and unfineshed stadium in Madrid, turned in an hanging park. The focus of the project is traform modern ruins in amazing places to live and be enjoyed by the inhabitants. Is an intense merging work between hard architecture and landscape, and will include a layered park, and urban farm, restaurants and shops, and public housing. The aim is to create something so peculiar and varied that will attract any sort of user. The status in is still work in project.

Private garden
Wimbledon, London (UK) This is a private backgarden designed on specific requests of the clients. The family asked for a special place to enjoy the sun and have bbq’s in the weekends, they dind’t wanted much plants to look after but asked for a peculiar outline that would make they’re their garden unique. 12

Garden for a brewery.
Rebel's microbrewery design contest.
Second place - honor mention Featured on: www.rebelsmicrobrewery.it/concorso The contest asked for a garden that would express the mood of the brewery using only recycled materials. We tried to make it pecouliar by using a wide range of materials: from pallets to bottles, jute bags, stoppers and pipes. The project, called TASTE ROAD, it's a winding path paved with pallet planks. Along the way the visitor can discover all the steps of the brewering process: the plant, the fermentation, the bottling, finishing with the tasting. The infographic on the left explains the different arrangements. Excluding the recycled materials, the whole garden could be made with a budget around 250 Euros.
14
Quick project view.
To explain the project to the clients in a quick and easy way. Few hours after the brief the clients can already see what’s the project like and tell what they do or do not like.

Thames Water Treatment Park o Thames Water Hampton Water Treatment Works needed a restyling, a massive green project to bring some extra in their grey working site. The aim of the project is to create a central prairie surrounded by a woodland, that can be walked throungh using two different paths. The main decked path as the purpose to connect two major buildings, while the narrower circle one is made of gravel and allows the workers to enjoy a relaxing walk in the woods and reach pic-nic and recreation areas. The central area in partLy left as simple lawn and partially filled with shurbus and wildflowers meadows. Value: ÂŁ150.000
The project was designed while working for Belderbos Landscapes.
