The urban area that includes the neighboor we’re studying lies in the peripherical area of urban compact texture on the South-West of city-centre. The urban portion refered to is the one from Piazza Napoli to the border with the village Corsico and the southern suburbs of Milan. The neighboor is very eterogeneus both architecturally and socially: in the area around via Soderini, Arzags and San Gimignano there is a high percentage of wealthy families, with, as a consequence, many valuable buildings; beside there are many social housing buildings in the area of via Inganni, Lorenteggio, Odazio, Giambellino. These portion are unluckly in bad conditions, architecturally and socially.

Urban Planning
The project deals with the reconstruction of the whole neighboor hosting Aler-social housing in Lorenteggio. The project finds its basis on three main aspects daily life in a city: green, transport, services. The studies have been following different lines: drawing, studies of sustenibility, with algorithms, and a study on the energetical aspect. The drawing part focuses on realising a pedestrian neighboor, two green promenades to absorbe the noise of the two busy streets runnig just outside the area, a big and central park and a new offices building that may transforms the neighboor in an actrative pole.
Less cars, more people The principal object of this project is create a completly peatonal district to increase the lifestyle in this part of Milan. Lorenteggio District is congested by the presence of a lot of useless little streets. A green boulevard against noise We resolve the problem of the street’s noise with the add of the green boulevard that reduce very much the orrible noise caused by traffic congestion. The boulevards have also a second function; in fact they increase the presence of shops and the number of the trees in the district. A green connection to connect the already existent parks. The central point of our project is to create a “green belt” inside the Lorenteggio/Giambellino district; the point is create a connection between the green spaces alrerady existed in the district with the creation of a big central park. This park have two important function: the connection of green spaces and the creation of a new peatonal area. A new urban attraction. It’s essential the decision to transform Lorenteggio district in a new urban attraction. In this way we can transform a useless district in a new urban vitality area

Equipment: Palazzo Visconti. Architecture to be rediscovered. The project involves the construction of a temporary exhibition within a picturesque hall of the palace Visconti. This project is divided into two phases: the first incorporates new functions of the room, making it suitable for a show, and secondly the project and the design of various display panels that contain the works, taking care of the smallest details. Entrance to the exhibition is the small door on the north-east of the palace that overlooks the Peschiera, from which there is a partial and studied environmental input. The layout is composed of a series of modular displays metal and by septa self-supporting. Graphic and photographic panels are mounted on steel cables and hung from a metal frame covered with a sheet steel micro. On vertical looms are exposed photographic images while those inclined there are the reproduction of drawings in format A1, then the tables are collected scale models.

Detail. Render
Render The design becomes detail. For the design of the exhibition is designed in detail all the elements that go to house the works on display. The display elements are essentially of three types: wall panels, displays, home designs and historical photos, the display tables that show the works of art and historical objects and walls that guide the visitor through the exhibition. Each element has been designed from the mechanical joint, assembled and designed to meet the need of the exhibition. During development, greater care has been given so that these elements could insert into your existing environment, without covering it but enhance it.
