RESIDENTIAL AREA PROBLEM: EACH STUDENT HAS TO CREATE A MASTER PLAN FOR A HOUSING UNIT ACCORDING TO THE EXISTING INDUSTRIAL AREA. BASED ON THIS MASTERPLAN, EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO DESIGN AN ACCOMODATION WITH A DIMENSION OF TEN METERS BY TEN, OVER TWO LEVEL. THE TOTAL INTERNAL AREA SHOULD NOT EXCEED 50% OF THE TOTAL AREA

OFFICE BUILDING PROBLEM: EACH STUDENT HAS TO CREATE A FOUR FLOOR OFFICE BUILDING. THEY HAVE THE TASK OF EXPRESSING THE THEME OF LIGHT AND SHADOW,AND OF DEVELOPING THE FACADE, CONCEIVED AS AN EXTERIOR EXPRESSION OF PLANIMETRY.

THE FIRST PART OF THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE STUDY OF SHAPES, PROPORTIONS, TEXTURES AND LIGHT THROUGH THE STUDY OF A BERN FACADE. THE STUDY WAS CARRIED OUT THROUGH AN ON-SITE SURVEY


THE SECOND PART OF THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE REPRESENTATION OF THE FACADE THROUGH THE TECHNIQUE OF DRY PAINTING. THE GOAL OF THE COURSE IS TO BE ABLE TO ACHIVE A FREE-STANDING ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN THAT REPRODUCES REALITY

SHAPE STARTING FROM THE SAME AMMOUNT OF PAPER, EVERY STUDENT HAS TO DESIGN A BIDIMENSIONAL FIGURE THAT CAN EVENTUALLY BE TURNED IN A 3D OBJECT


STRUCTURE THE CONCEPT OF STRUCTURE, A QUALITY THAT CAN BE VISIBLE OR HIDDEN, BUT THAT REPRESENT THE MAXIMUM EXPRESSION OF BEAUTY, IS CONSIDERED AD THE SILENT PROTAGONIST OF ANY ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT. THIS THEME WAS DEVELOPED THROUGHT THE REALIZATION OF AN ITTIOSAUR SKELETON
