When I think of the title “fashion icon” it sends me directly to Coco Chanel who played a very important role in women’s fashion in the 20th century. She brought major changes in the fashion world, in addition to the fact that they were recently found documents revealed her covert work for Nazi military intelligence during World War II. She made it on her own, she standed for what she believed in making a significant change when she had to. She completely redesigned the way women dressed during the 20th century.
