Priority is given to sourcing the very best local produce and suppliers enabling a menu that changes to capture the season’s flavours. Although we can do fancy, it’s not done for fancy’s sake! It’s this approach that has gained us several notable awards and it’s with pride that we can say all of our restaurants sit proudly amongst the highest reputations within their regions.

The former family home of Percy Bysshe Shelley (poet) and later a Governor of the Bank of England, Alexander House can be traced back to the 17th Century and the magnificent, well tended grounds, once edged by a Roman road provide perfect thinking or team activity space. With 38 bedrooms and a series of private meeting rooms, full of natural, daylight complimentary WiFi and attentive assistance. Superbly located near Dartford just 30 mins from the centre of London, Canary Wharf or City Airport. The O2 is just a 20 min train journey, whilst Ashford International Station is 30 mins drive in the opposite direction. Being five mins from J3 M25 / M20 means it is close to Ebbs Fleet International (Eurostar) and hopping across the channel. Rowhill Grange was built in 1868 and is believed to have been the home of Sir George Cole, Lord Mayor of London until 1928. Adjoining is the impressive Clockhouse Suite, originally a coaching house, with its impressive clock that once belonged to the Swanley Town Hall and weighs over a ton. In addition we also have the awardwinning Utopia spa and fitness centre, to set you up for or wind you down from a productive day. Using the therapeutic nature of water, drift away in calming Romanesque interiors complete with stunning therapy pools, underwater massage beds and soothing waterfall before relaxing in the jacuzzi or steam room and sauna.

The newly refurbished Clockhouse Suite is now fully air conditioned and is our largest conference and banqueting suite. Offering natural daylight, this suite accommodates up to 160 delegates theatre style and 150 delegates for formal dining. Along with its own bar and dance floor, this elegant room is ideal for formal and informal occasions.

The oak-panelled boardroom in the main house is the perfect setting for executive meetings or private dining.

We have various syndicate rooms available for 2-70 delegates, each with their own individual style and decoration.
