How long can you wait before opening your presents? Following a hearty Sussex Breakfast there is plenty of time to play with or show off your new gifts, take a stroll around the grounds or brave the elements and take the plunge in our outdoor Hot Tub!
Make yourself at home… when you are ready, pop down and explore the gorgeous house or slip into Utopia Spa and enjoy an exceptional treatment or two! Before dinner, General Manager Matthew Callard invites you to meet fellow guests for a Champagne and Canapés reception whilst enjoying traditional Christmas Carols. Tonight our Executive Chef and his awardwinning team has prepared a superb five-course dinner served in Reflections, to showcase a taste of things to come. The excitement of tomorrow might warrant an early night for some, for others it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night cap before the big day. Mulled wine will be waiting for those returning from midnight mass.
And so to the main event… a veritable feast. Our Chef presents a five-course festive luncheon including traditional favourites in Reflections restaurant. Take a minute to browse through the wine list and pick the perfect accompaniment, our expert team will be on hand to assist if necessary. After lunch relax in the South Drawing Room or Library with our collection of family board games. Much later you might be feeling peckish, so an evening buffet supper will be served as the perfect finale to a truly memorable day. Traditionally a time to work off excesses but how will you spend your day? Following another scrummy breakfast you could explore the local area, squeeze in a game of golf or visit the sales in Brighton. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy family time as we have plenty of games to play, films to watch and lots of comfy sofas to curl up in. Lunch will be served from 12:30pm. Fully refreshed following your afternoon activities, you can gleefully enjoy this evening’s Gala Dinner. Our Boxing Day Gala Dinner is renowned as the finest way to conclude the Christmas festivities.
tuesday 27th dec Breakfast is served in Reflections and for those guests departing may we extend our best wishes for 2012 and a very safe journey home.

boxing DAY DINING Open to non-residents only. We have two very different and very distinctive festive dining venues, all under the watchful eye of our new Executive Chef. AGs is our finer dining venue - a more adult foodie experience and The Shelley a feast for all eyes and perfect for families as there is a little entertainment for our smaller guests. All menus are superb, using the freshest produce from boutique, local suppliers and combining a mixture of delicious traditional favourites with very tasty modern alternatives.
