He then thought about changing from the geometric camo to the famous INITIAL D tofu wrap. Every car enthusiast should know about the legendary Panda AE86 driven by the protagonist, Takumi Fujiwara. And since the BRZ is considered the successor of the Toyota AE86, this old tofu wrap would bring forth the modern tofu 86 of Subaru. Even though he does not watch a big variety of anime, he puts anime stickers such as Naruto and Gundam to show the community that he, too, is a weeb. With his brother Alex, he adds in his customized anime peeker stickers to both sides of his windows for more anime decoration without showing that Andrew is a total weeb. Andrew drives his pearl white BRZ to paradise. He started with just a stock Subaru BRZ. And even though there was no modifications, Andrew continued to drive with passion. Whether driving normally in the city, or driving like a professional, he still enjoyed riding his BRZ. His journey to paradise began with the Spec D tuning catback exhaust. With only the aftermarket exhaust equipped, his car awakens from its slumber. This was considered his first step to the vast world of cars. As years past by, he continued to modify his car to further exceed its stock performance. The car eventually became a drastic beauty to his eyes. For exterior, he went through few different wraps

Andrew and his friends would take some photos of one car or a group of cars together. Andrew always love to take picture of his car either as a stand-alone or with other cars and then use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for the art of photography. Andrew plans to continue upgrading and modifying his car until his build is complete. He has a long journey to accomplish and fulfill his dreams of being famous.

of his friends named Karl, who’s from the Itasha community and owns a Itasha FRS, suggested him to do the Dance Dance Revolution wrap since Terrence grew up playing DDR since his teenage years. He knew that it was rare for cars to have game-themed wrap, so he decided to make his car look different, not to mention that DDR is recognizable to every person even if they do not play the game. Taking upon his friend’s suggested, Terrence decided to full send on the DDR wrap. Few years later he drives his newly modified FRS with the DDR exterior shown as his love for playing Dance Dance Revolution. Terrence has gone to many car events and enjoyed receiving compliments from other fellow drivers. He wants to show the car community the uniqueness of his car and how much effort he has put for the past years of owning his FRS. Through his car, he hopes to spread the message in the community that all cars are to be appreciateda and respected, that each car has its own unique design, vision, and personality. Terrence knows that all modified cars are not to be treated like trash or such; they must be treated like art, something that one must feel intrigued by its style and performance. Today, Terrence is currently satisfied with his modifications done onto his FRS. His car is currently full-bolt on in terms of performance. Although in the future, he still plans on putting more modifications, considering it is unique to the car.

CAR SHOWS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
EXOTIC BEAUTY
BEAUTIFULLY BUILT FOR SHOW AND PHOTOGRAPHY PHOTOGRAPHY BY: ANDREW NGUYEN WORDS BY: ALEX NGUYEN
There are many cars born to shine in the world of exotic vehicles; cars that are high-end, aesthetic, gnarly, and stylishly cool. People cannot afford to own the rich cars, but what they can afford are pictures. Photographers love to walk up to one beautiful car and take out their phones or digital cameras to take pictures of them. Car pictures are taken to be embraced in car enthusiasts’ memories. Because these are considered exotic, they are not common to be seen on streets. And when they cannot be seen on streets, car shows are much likely to check out. People have always dreamed of seeing their favorite cars in car show events like these. Exotic cars such as Lamborghini, Mclaren, Pagani, and Ferrari can be seen as the feature of the show. Although cars that are placed on the higher tier like Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and etc are the super rare cars that do not get featured in a lot of car shows. It’s not just that all cars in one specific car brand are rare, but it really depends on the specific model made by the manufacturer. For example, Honda is one of the common car brands known to everyone besides car enthusiasts. Honda makes a lot of average cars for people to drive, but they also make variety of sports cars ranging from “cool” to very-rare. The first generation Honda NSX is the most rarest car model to be seen on streets and car shows. Most rare cars from different manufacturing companies created at least a limit number of cars; 1 of 200, 1 of 110, or even 1 of 10 in the world are how some exotic cars would be labeled. When it comes to foreign cars, it’s also very rare to see because it’s only made and driven in the Eastern area. It’s not common to find car enthusiasts who own foreign cars in America but you can sometimes find enthusiasts who own foreign cars at car meets/shows. More so of shows because it is a controlled environment versus a meet where it’s most likely illegal. Car meets get shut down so quick and it hurts us as a community where we can’t show off cars due to meets being shut down by the cops so often. These cars are not meant to be for reckless driving, they are meant to be shown to the world for its beauty and not tarnish the car show community for its manufacture.

SPOCOM SHOW AND FUN THE CAR COMMUNAL LIFE
SPOCOM is a well-rounded automotive event that is hosted every year all around the nation. People all around the world come to check out nice builds. Not just spectators, but also drivers can bring their cars inside to show-off their greatest builds to the audience. Every year, there would be returning members or newcomers that come to Spocom to check out new cars that they’ve never seen in person. Spocom is usually hosted in convention centers where cars can gather closely and compare. Unlike auto shows, these cars are grouped up together in a certain catagory. The majority of the cars gathered here are modified. These cars are ranged from American to Japanese, to European cars. There aren’t a lot of luxurious cars such as Bugattis, Paganis, and etc because people here obviously cannot afford such a huge price of money. Every driver in the SPOCOM event has worked hard to modify their cars to exceptional amount of level to be worth noticed. During the event, people can compete aaginst each other by showing who has the greatest build in certain categories of car aspects such as best exterior, best team, best engineering, and best in show. Other than best performances, there can also be competitions on who has the best car in each car manufacturing company. Spocom is meant to be a recreational event where a huge car community can hang out and have fun.
