Live Music in Puerto Rico Many people think bomba and plena artists Nights only utilize to musicians, but throughout the country there are fictional open mics in your local coffee shop, book store and library. I've hosted a wide open Mic reading sequence for almost per year and these occasions bring out authors of all genres: fiction, memoir, poetry, spoken word plus more. We've had crosswalk artists, but for the most part we stick to the written phrase. At these events, we have concerning 20 readers and about 40 folks in the audience, that is fantastic! Imagine, 40 people decided to get off their lounger and listen to other people read their own poetry! I have some excellent readers who emerge to our Open Mics - they come punctually, they read inside the 5 minute time limit and they make sure they put won't say or do just about anything inappropriate.
