The city of Boston, Massachusetts is one of the greatest cities in the United States. Not only is Boston full of important landmarks from throughout our country’s history, but it’s also a cultural melting pot featuring plenty of great things to see, whether you live in the city or are just visiting. Here are some of the best things to check out in Boston this year.
Seaport District One of the most talked-about neighborhoods in the city is the Boston Seaport. This area, which used to be a no-man’s land, has quickly evolved into a center for innovation and mixed-use development. It’s attracting prominent companies such as Amazon and biotech firms, as well as major developers who are competing to develop the city’s most expensive sky-scraping condominiums. The area has also attracted a young and ambitious workforce. Some of the great businesses that have been established in the area include Legal Harborside, Flight Club, and the Lookout Rooftop. alexandraarrivillaga.net/great-things-to-do-in-boston-this-summer/

Museum of Fine Arts The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the most impressive art collections in the country. It features a wide variety of art and artifacts, including some of the best Korean art pieces in the world. It has the only permanent space for ancient coins in the US. Also, it has a collection of John Singer Sargent’s work, which is one of the largest collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world. The museum’s claims to fame are so varied that it could take you weeks to document its exceptionality. One of the most impressive exhibits that you can see during your visit is the Claude Monet gallery, which was completely renovated in 2016. In addition, the museum’s Arts of Islamic Cultures Gallery was recently re-built with the help of local Muslim groups.
Public Garden The Public Garden is a great way to get around the city and see all of the different parts of Boston. One of the most prominent features in the garden is the Swan Boats, which can be found in the lagoon. The flowers in this area are so vibrant that they’re almost as vivid as the boats themselves. The Commonwealth Avenue entrance is one of the park’s most charming features. It features a statue of George Washington, and it’s flanked by flowers. During the time when Victorian Bostonians lived in the area, this park was regarded as offensive.
The Freedom Trail The Freedom Trail begins at the Boston Common, which is the oldest public park in the country. It features 16 historic landmarks that tell the story of Boston’s revolutionary history. Although the Freedom Trail is popular with tourists, it also serves as a great way to get around the city during the day. The Freedom Trail goes through various historic sites in a modern setting, such as the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church. If you’re short on time, take a look at the North End section, which features some of the city’s most notable landmarks. These include the Copp’s Hill Burial Ground and the Old North Church.
