Bottega Quattro A really nice concept fashion store located in the Brera district. The shop is two floors, and you can also find clothes for “him, not only her. The store hosts a lot of different brands, like: Maison Scotch, American Vintage and Daniele Fiosoli etc. Not exactly H&M, but you can for sure find something different and causual without emptying your wallet. PS. The guys working here is quite cute. Via arco 1
& Other Stories When it comes to shopping, this is one of my absolute favorite stores in Milan. &Other Stories is a Swedish fashion brand which offer woman clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, lingeri, beauty. In other words all the things you need to look damn good beautiful! But not only are the things here beautiful, they are also of good quality, with this little extra detail. Not only the clothes, but everything. Depending on the season you will have shopping bags painted in different watercolors. The store is an attraction in itself. A mecca of inspiration. And last but not least, the prices here are affordable. My best advice for good everyday basics and accessories. Corso Vittorio Emanuele 1

LET’S JUST ESCAPE
FOR A LITTLE WHILE
FLAMINGO DREAM In the center of Milan there is a “hidden” oasis. In between Corso Venezia and Via Cappuccini you can find Palazzo Invernizzi, a beautiful building inspired by the Classicism. And in the garden that belongs to the building you can find a large colony of pink flamingos. The first time I discovered this I couldn’t believe my own eyes, but it’s true. All the birds of Villa Invernizzi were born in captivity, and their ancestors were brought from Africa and Chile in 1980. Go and have a look! Villa Invernezzi, Via Cappucini 9
VILLA NECCHI CAMPLIGIO Villa Necchi provides an oasis of calm in the centre of Milan. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with swimming pool and tennis court, It was built between 1932 and 1935 by architect Piero Portaluppi and served as the home for Angelo Campiglio, his wife and his brother’s wife Nedda Necchi Gigina, belonging to the upper middle class of Lombard industrial families. For 5 euros only you can get a guided tour and see the villa from inside. This lasts for about 50 minutes. The gardens can be visited freely and there is also a coffee shop, so you can enjoy a coffee or lunch
in
this stunning garden. Villa Necchi Campligio, Via Mozart 14
10 CORSO COMO If you want to experience a piece of heaven, I think this place is pretty close. 10 Corso Como is a shopping and dining complex located in a courtyard in Corso Como. Anonymous on the outside, a treasure chest on the inside. The concept is combines outlets that show and sell works of art, fashion, music, design, books, cuisine and culture. Here you can get lost for hours. And when you need a break, the restaurants
tropical environment will relax you. If not, the roofgarden is not a bad idea for a coffee either. 10 Corso Como was established in 1991 by the ex-editor of Italian Elle, Cara Sozzani. And as the interest of the founder, this is where the fashion-conscious people of Milan seek to see and be seen.. Corso Como 10
This is one of the most expensive coffees I ever had in Milan so far, but also one of the best. I really love having honey and cinnamon in my coffee. Here I got it, and without even asking.
ROSSANA ORLANDI Spazio Rossana Orlandi is really a hidden, located in a courtyard 10 minutes walking from the Sant’Ambrogio metro station. It opened in 2002 in a former tie factory in the Magenta Neighbour. The spaces wind around the green courtyard and they are divided between the 2-floor store, where you can find contemporary and vintage furnitures and a gallery, a space dedicated to limited editions and unique pieces. Since from the start the aim was to forecast and promote young and upcoming designers, discovered all around the world. If you cross over the street you will also discover an amazing restaurant that also belongs to the concept called “Pane e Acqua”. Via Matteo Bandello, 14/16
MINT GARDEN CAFÉ Mint Garden café is not only an amazing place for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, but you can also buy beautiful flowers here. As the payoff promise: Foods & flowers in Milano. As you enter the café you get a feeling of being inside a huge greenhouse. The staff is also very accommodating and friendly, something I feel is less common in Milan. For me this in on of the best places when it comes to atmosphere. It’s the whole look and feel. So before going I just want to add: When you are enjyoing your morning coffee or drinking your glass of wine, be aware of the cacti! Via Casati 12
