360° Mall New shopping experience: Buy online but feel like being in the real world Sometimes shopping on the Internet seems so boring and like a waste of time. Click on one site to purchase a flight and then look for the new winter trends on four other sites. Lifax, the developing company behind the special concept, created a platform tailored on all your desires: 360° Mall. So how will it work? The handling is easy and user friendly, getting step-­‐by-­‐step directions by ANA. You will start off by creating an account, digging in personal, important information like your age, working position or number of children. Furthermore, you will be asked to describe your personal style and to write down shops or products you currently need. The more information you give, the more specific and tailored will your site become. In order to that, the personal information will be handled secretly without handing it over to other websites.

Furthermore, you can save your sizes, so looking for new shorts or even underwear becomes so much faster. Now you are ready to explore your virtual shopping mall. Lifax promises to walk around smoothly and have one nice and fitting shop next to another. But is this really what we can expect? After multiple testing’s: Yes! Walking with your keyboard works perfectly, having shops around you that you like, as well. Reading little reviews of other costumers is interesting and informative and can help you finding exactly what you need. As soon as you click on a website, the normal homepage of that specific shop will open, framed by the Mall design. During experiencing the mall, ANA, your personal shopping assistant, will guide you. Ask her something and she knows the answer. Tell her to show your recent buying’s and shopping lists and you’ll see it. ANA is also there in the beginning of using 360°mall: making you feel comfortable with the mall concept and helping you in finding everything you need. “We were trying to combine the benefits of online and offline shopping”, says Founder Alexandra Hadschieff, explaining the new way of virtual communicating. As soon as you have created your account, you can start connecting with Facebook or other social medias as well as find friends directly on 360°Mall. After adding and choosing your visibility settings, you can follow the walk of your friends, see what they are looking at and suggest products and shops. Meanwhile, you can also talk via Video Chat, so you are actually shopping together -­‐ online. Trying out the new 360° Mall showed us a combining and productive way of shopping online, with the charming feeling of being on a real shopping mall.
