SIGHT
Shown is the first attempt at making a collage for the idea of sight. The two frames, as well as, the opposing filters, and shapes, are meant to display the variations of views in the same sight. Methods I used were: opposition in colors, underlying geometric orders, and shapes.
Sense_Filter SIGHT In this, I wanted to play around with focusing filter alterations. Which can be commonly seen as a theme in each experiment. A common method I used was, altering the color of areas surrounding the camera to create a clear distinction between reality and fiction.
In the experiment to the left, you can see I added exposure only to the clouds to give it a cotton candy look.
Sense_Edit SIGHT We were tasked with using photoshop to add edits to the previous compostion so I added polaroid films, cameras, images within the cameras , and an image overlay. I wanted to use these ideas to further the concept of perception and illusion.
Sense_Diagram SIGHT On one side is my first understanding of a diagram and on the right side is my final diagram. In the final iteration, I wanted to make it seem like the lens (circle) was the medium so I chose grey to represent that middle ground. The placement of the triangles represent something going in and out.
Sense_Final Experiment SIGHT In the final collage, I wanted to keep many of the ideas I created throughout the Sense Project. The overal idea for this expirement was to make it appear as if everything is being filtered through the lens; with each picture, there is a new outcome.
FRAME
Frame_Data Whole Foods Market This area has small differences in elevation; however, Whole Foods is particularly sitting on one of the hills. This makes it stand out.
Frame_Map Whole Foods Market Here, I wanted to experiment with watercolor to manipulted elevations and distance. In lower areas the color is lighter and in higher areas, it’s darker.
DREAM
Dream_Shape Extruding both the camera and the lens allowed for me to create a 3-Dimensional space and form. I chose to turn the main components (the photos and the lens) into to open shapes because they comunicate the idea of variation of outputs surrounding a source.

I began in illustrator to create a diagram that would give a clear and basic understanding of what it was i was trying to design (bottom left image). Then proceeded to Rhino to create it (top left). Next I took it into InDesign to add text for each viewpoint. Latly, I added it to photoshop to organize the basic functions and possible designs. This space is meant for the mind. It is a place of enlightenment and evolution.
Embody_Final Experiment After going through each software this is the final experiment. Le Papillon Headquarters: The Lifestyle and The Movement A place for growth and evolution.
