Letter from the Editor
Each year we predict which new colors will be the hottest trends. The true color may not change but the colors combined or minor hue/tint adjustments will determine how it plays in the next season. With styles and seasons seemingly shifting faster and faster it is becoming even harder to predict these colors. In this trend report we will show you four different color ways; neutral, pastels, jewels, and brights. Each palette has its own unique characteristics and what we think will be seem everywhere come A/W 18/19. Alexandria Lang

Balance and calm are key qualities of this palette. Giving it a contemporary and classic look. The pastels are refreshed and given consideration for children swear. Wild Moss and Taupe Tulips give a nice contrast against colors like Primrose and Just Peachy. The combination of these colors allow for it to be used cross gender.

Modern Folklore focuses on the deep and moody tones. These dark tones are complimented with the lighter tones of Dark Ginger and Deep Sapphire. These colors can be used for both genders. These rich colors also look good in many of the fabrics used especially velvet.
