It is our aim to foster long term relationships with our customers by providing keen insight and experience, a powerful R&D platform, and quality production capabilities. Pacific has produced unique designs for over 40 renowned brands worldwide. Pacific recently expanded with the construction of a new company building, which has streamlined every aspect of design and production for increased efficiency and sustainability. We also invested in 3D scanning and printing technology to maximize efficiency of R&D and quality control processes.

George Lin is the founder, chairman, heart and soul of Pacific Cycles. In 1980, he founded the company with a vision to provide a state-of-the-art R&D workshop for like-minded bicycle designers around the world. Because of his broad experience and in-depth knowledge of bicycles, he has several unofficial titles, such as “Godfather of the Taiwanese bicycle industry” and “Bicycle Professor.”

PACIFIC MUSEUM A UNIQUE LOOK INTO BICYCLE HISTORY

Pacific Cycles is located near Yung-An harbor in Taiwan, which attracts thousands of tourists every weekend and features new scenic bike paths that follow the coastline. With the opening of Pacific Cycles Museum, we aim to further enhance people’s understanding of bicycle technology and promote cycling activities in Taiwan.

The Pacific Bicycle Museum, located in our former office building in Yung-An, Taiwan, is a one-of-a-kind showcase of Pacific Cycles’ collection of innovative bicycle products—providing insight into the unique design culture of our company to the hundreds of visitors from all corners of the world who come to visit Pacific Cycles each year. A special trike designed for sufferers of cerebral palsy, stair cycles, rowing bikes, four-wheeled cycles for two people, a tricycle that can move backwards—perfect for use on escalators—are just a few of the unique Pacific creations on display at the museum. Visitors can even see a hand-powered cycle featuring a thick steel-bottomed plate, designed specifically upon request of the UN for people with lower-limb disabilities in Ethiopia, where minefield injuries are common. Pacific Cycles provides an effective R&D and manufacturing springboard for bicycle design elites all over the world to develop their products and companies. Many folding bikes, tricycles, and mountain bikes on the market today are made by Pacific Cycles. Our museum reflects this commitment to the industry with a collection of over two hundred “living” bikes, and represents the epitome of modern bicycle technology rather than simply showcasing antique bicycles. Displayed items are accompanied by the unique development story of each bicycle model.
