hobby

I love moving and travelling over and over again, at least when I have the chance to do it. I don’t deny the fact that I’m a good chef and that I’m constantly interested in art, photography and music, arts that often exercise a big influence on my work, and also instill me in the architecture and creative design. I admit that I also have a big passion for the Bianchi bikes, long walks and mountains.

Because I think that through this experience I could find a new architectural challenge, that could make me develop a new level of knowledge and awareness of my human and design capabilities. Also, I think that through this new experience, I could mature new skills that could touch not only the vocational sphere, but also the human and social ones, giving me a new awareness of what this world could be in the future if we could heal it with beauty. It is with great pleasure that I write a reference letter on behalf of Dumitru Alexandru Musteata.

I have known Dumitru in my capacity of Professor of Architectural Design and Coordinator of International Programs at the Faculty of Architecture (University of Roma Tre), where Musteata has just completed his Master degree course. I have been following Dumitru 's progress in his studies and I could witness Dumitru 's very strong commitment and high motivation in his study course. In his mainstream course activities, he has proven to be hard working and a very good and active team player, with many of the courses implying activities in small or larger groups. In particular, in the yearly Architectural Design laboratories I could see how Dumitru gradually matured and learned a new way of studying, thinking and working. In team work, Dumitru is a natural leader, while being a good listener, a very respectful young man and a good advocate for his own ideas. Musteata was an enthusiastic, pleasant, easy‐going and collaborative student, goes very well along with his peers and teachers.

I have a very high opinion of Dumitru because he was not a mainstream follower nor a passive student and has a very strong intellectual personality. Dumitru thinks a lot, he thinks out of the pot and has a very high intellectual curiosity, and critical mind. He is creative, while being systematic and thorough in his reflections and speculations. He always asks reasons for what he is taught, and looks for new directions and new links with what he is studying, sometimes at the expense of a background of intellectual restlessness, in a way that I consider very positive. This is the context that triggered his readings and generated the career path he has chosen, with determination and consciousness. As an Architect that has designed and built around the world, and as a Professor daily in contact with students, I can only but be impressed by this approach and encourage it. I am sure that he will do well at your Office, as his motivation and ability to cope with competitive environments is an intrinsic part of his personality. I do hope you will consider his application positively, you will not be disappointed.
