“One is too precious about the past, the other too hungry for the future. One arm being dragged into the past by the ethics of historic preservation, the other being yanked towards a hopeful (bigger, brighter, better) future. Winy Maas, Visionary Cities. Urgencies for the City of the Future

DESCRIPTION
.............................................................................................................................................................................
I like to believe that architecture is the result of a unitary effort combined with an innovative, creative spirit, but above all, passion and sensitivity. I am a playful spirit, I always like to experiment with new ideas and shapes and I am motivated to go beyond any limit when it comes to creating a space or object that meets the needs of the users.

LIVRID - Living Hybrid Program: Housing Location: Bucureștii Noi Surface: 300 sqm
“House” - an object in which one lives, often designed by an architect, home, residence. “Home” - a subjective perception of a space considered valuable, experienced differently by each of us. The exercise follows the fragmentation of the housing program in several autonomous areas, however, held together by a common, flexible space, which penetrates them and becomes like a performance scene, perfectly adaptable to a multitude of activities. This “in-between” space not only ensures a pleasant environment through the natural lighting of all the rooms, it also facilitates a permanent visual communication with each other, accompanied by intimacy.
6
7
In the section you can see how the original atrium descends in the form of an L, forming an Exterior Living room that is in contact with all the spaces of the house. Thus the whole assembly becomes a magnet for a multitude of activities meant to break down the barriers between the inside and the outside. 8

Living in Community Program: Row - Housing Locație: Cluj
On a narrow site located in Cluj I proposed the coupling of several dwellings on a common front to give rise to a common, homogeneous facade. The new volumetry, although seemingly simple, solves the problem of access to the site and gives it a functional dualism: the access located on the open front to the city and a new, larger area where the newly formed community can coexist in a space of considerable size, green, intimate and with personality. Therefore, a community is encouraged to come to life not by facade aesthetics but by the opportunity of daily interactions. This was made possible by limiting the dwellings to a minimum size, developing them on a verical scale and an efficient relationship between the serviced spaces, easement spaces and circulation. 12

15
16
The houses present themselves to the viewer as a massive barrier, at the same time welcoming. In the plan you can see how the ground floor works as a gate between the city and the private space of the community. The vertical circulation was positioned in the center of the house for efficiency reasons but also to separate the different areas because each level houses a different typology of rooms.

Social Topography
Program: Social Housing Locație: Sibiu
The theme of the workshop was the design of a social housing district in Sibiu. The main generators of the concept were the existing condition of the public land site used for agriculture locals and its relationship with the city and the natural environment. Thus we generated a typology of volumes optimized for efficient compartmentalization. These bodies were then condensed to occupy as little as possible of the surface of the land. Then followed their rotation in plane and modeling on vertically depending on the position of the sun. The new volumetry ensures that they are not present north facing rooms and that all the apartments can enjoy views to the landscape mountain around. A series of holes in volumes ensure the continuation of the public space at the level vertical streets and visual communication between dwellings.

Brâncuși Institute of Modern Art Program: Museum Location: Târgu Jiu
“Life is like a spiral. We do not know in what direction her target is, but we must go in the direction we believe is the right one. “ Constantin Brâncuși The theme of project was to imagine an attractor in the city of Târgu Jiu that will polarize the urban life around it and revitalize it the existing environment. Thus the Brâncuși Institute was born: a cultural center meant to hosts exhibitions and events of contemporary art. Because of the fact that at the moment currently in our country there are very few pieces of the artist, his presence is evoked by the use of form and materials. The entire exhibition takes the form of a spiral street around one atrium, connected with multifunctional halls. A massive shell, inspired by the stone used by artist, hides a dynamic experience. Then, inside, stone, bronze and wood reference the works of the artist.

Generate. Regenerate. Cogenerate Program: Cogeneration Plant Location: Baia Mare
Following a process of analysis of opportunities at the urban level, a series of strategies have been proposed aimed at revitalizing the city of Baia Mare. The site proposed by the studip represents the former chemical compound, currently contaminated by chemical residues. One of strategies proposed was the identification and use of the huge geothermal potential. Besides the heating of the houses, geothermal energy can also be used in horticulture. A masterplan has been proposed which encourages horticulture, generating over time a significant amount of natural residue . This residue can be used in a biogas plant. Thus the object of the study becomes a cogeneration station (a biogas plant) with several functions (cultural, commercial, public). The old industrial park is anchored on the railway network rehabilitated by proposal and converted in a new natural park, becoming a landmark.

Urban Design
Program: Mixed - Use Location : Bucharest
The proposal, located on Unirii Boulevard, Bucharest, follows the insertion of an attractor at the intersection between the modern tissue of the socialist city and the old, traditional. A mix between the morphological characteristics of each tissue gave rise to a footprint that continues the shape of the tissue in the plane but has 2 vertical accents, generating a landmark.

Parametric Design
Program: Pavilion Location: Constanța In the Parametric Design class Grasshopper software was used to generate parametric geometries. In this case we had as an objective the design of a reception pavilion in the port of Constanța. The architectural quality of the space is given by the organic structure generated using several spatial attractors.
56
57
58
59
The geometry was generated using a script based on the distance between the gaps and a series of attractors placed in space. Thus, a variation of organic proportions of the openings on the facade is obtained, while they also represent the form of structural composition.

Infinitty Box
Program: Art Installation
A box without people in it is just a box, only people actually have the power to generate together an infinityofexperiences.Aninteractiveinstallationforthe public space. A kinetic forest of fiber optics constantly change its shape and color depending on the proximity and number of users. Thus the visual effect obtained encourages those around them to interact. As the number of users present starts to grow, the colour of the optical fiber calbes gets warmer and its movements generate pockets between individuals. This generates a multitude of experiences and possibilities. At night it becomes a true landmark in any urban plazza.

Hasta la Victoria Siempre! Program:Competitom
A place for a true revolutionary, a fighter. As many people appreciate him, so many have seen in him a cold-blooded killer, a belligerent personality of the twentieth century. As we know, although all the socialist states of the last century have sought to create a perfect world for the common man, in the end they have become real prisons for their citizens. The project aims to evoke Che as a symbol, as an ideal not as a person. As Zamjyatin says in the novel “We” - “all revolutions are endless, there is no final revolution.” we must also contemplate the next revolution. The 21st century revolution should not be one marked by violence as violence brings even more violence as the past 10 years have shown in the Middle East. The next revolution must be an individual revolution. In this sense a “house for Che” is a school, a refuge and a monument that evokes the collective struggle but also the power of the well-determined individual that cannot be stopped by even the most powerful governments and empires. Ever onward to victory!

Criss-Crossing
Program: Public Space Location:Zurich
Criss-Crossing = crossroads
Crossing, crossings,= . The action of (crossing) and its result. 1. Settlement, combination, crosslinking of several things. Artificialization, simultaneity, dynamism, instability, disappearance, dispersion, all these we can identify as defining conditions of the contemporary urban environment. All of these states of perpetual transformation actually reflect the current heterogeneous character of spatial, social and cultural realities, marked by a slight coexistence between domestic and collective, between local and global, between banal and extraordinary. All this accelerates and articulates the processes that take place daily in our lives. In Prague, on the Vltava river we proposed a crossroads of experiences to create a dynamic, picturesque and functionally flexible urban route. Park, gardens, open-air theater, event space, bridge, river, all combined in a unitary form without any strong boundaries, so that the user becomes aware of the characteristics of the space rather through the relationships with the surroundings rather than through the language of architecture. 70

Interior Design
Program: Commercial
Proposed arrangement for the interior design competition of Braiconf stores. I opted for a different color palette, starting with nav y blue defines the symbolism of the Braiconf logo, complementing the warm and natural shades of brown of the wood, with the neutrality and simplicity brought by the color given by the use of white, and in finally, the elegant note being brought by the discrete elements of the display furniture in golden hue, defined by the use of brass. All finishing materials used for both walls, floors, ceilings and furniture making are of the highest quality. Terazzo can be found both horizontally, on the floor level, and in the elements monobloc furniture. In the vertical plane, where the cash desk is located, I opted for a raffle wood to accentuate the verticality and to clearly mark the end of the perspective. The furniture comes as a complement to the horizontal plane, also using wood (oak). Also here, the brass inserts used in the fabric support bars confer elegance and refinement in the language of space. The walls contrast the telltale hues, defining the room with a masculine note. When I opted for lights, I chose strip lighting LED niches that make the connection between the cardboard gypsum ceiling and the perimeter walls for one floating sensation, celestial. In addition, we used reflectors specially designed for commercial spaces, arranged on a metal rail system, directly illuminating the products.

A house for a Rainforest Hero Program: Concurs
As we speak, some things are consumed and new ones arise : advancing, moving on from one theme to another, describing trajectories taking journeys through the mind. The Amazon rainforest is a vast tract of largely untamed jungle that is Earth’s most biodiverse region, filled with plants and trees and teeming with animals of all types and sizes — including many unknown to science. In recent months, the Amazon region has been hit by thousands of fires that collectively have cleared more than 7,400 square miles of rainforest in Brazil. Alongside fires, other man made activities such as cattle ranching, agriculture and logging contribue daily to the further killing of Earth’s most precious rainforest. An ecological disaster of such proportions would have effects at a global level. In the face of such threaths, new heroes would arise to join the fight for a safer world. Our brave hero sets himself on a journey deep in the Amazon Rainforest, seeking areas damaged by fires or man, in order to bring them back to life. Instead of old nostalgic or pseudobucolic ecology that only freezes landscapes and environments by clearly separating man and nature, he proposes a more bold approach. He creates synergy between man, nature and technology. His house, no longer a simple object, becomes a subject of interaction between him and the rainforest, an engaging part of the landscape. His house builds itself from scratch, evolves and dies, disolving itself in the environment from where it came . After finding an area in need of reforestation, carying only a backpack with 3D printing robots and a tent, he sets up his small base of operations. The 3D printing robots are instructed to construct the house using bioplastic fillaments for structure, membranes and even parts of the furniture. The first space printed will be the lab where he studies and grows species native to the forest. In short time other spaces are printed (bedroom, living room, kithchen , dining room). When completed, the house is not a single volume but a collection of pavilions, inhabiting the landscape, becoming part of it. Biomass from areas affected by deforestation and fires is transformed into biofuel for energy and cooking by using a small biogas home generator. Built only using biodegradible materials with short lifespan, the house disolves itself after 4 years, whene our hero completes his work and travels to another place in need of intervention.

Mumbai reside
Program: Competiton Location: Mumbai
The competition was aimed at developing solutions to one of Mumbai’s current problems: the uncontrollable development of slums at an unparalleled speed. This type of urban fabric brings with it a number of problems: the lack of infrastructure and the difficult access to public services such as health and education. As any attempt to stop or decommission them was unsuccessful, we proposed a negotiation at the level of urban tissue between the new vernacular and the new architectural project. Thus we were inspired by the local typologies and I proposed a modular, flexible and native concept of the site, able at any time to integrate and facilitate the connection between the vernacular and the urban.

Sarmi
Program: Museum Locație: Orăștie
Concept developed within the “Sarmi” Workshop organized by UAUIM for the design of a Dacian culture museum in Orăștie, Sibiu. The project site is represented by an existing building in Orăștie, on which it intervenes at the level of interior design and extension proposal. The museum route has as its starting point the atmosphere typical of Romanian rural settlements. Thus, the proposed image has the following elements: The corridor, which represents the Romanian streets, and each room is the symbol of the traditional Troits, sacred spaces in which you found your peace. As you go this route you are carried through different centuries that have marked the history of our country, differentiated by pale colors that represent the main pigment of the exhibited objects. Each room has been designated two rooms containing different objects of worship, such as: icons, old prayer books, liturgies, pottery, crucifix, steep, etc. The idea of the intervention started from the need to end the museum route inside, with an intervention open to the outside to create an observation point to the surroundings and to allow the insertion of a panroamic lift. The form we chose for the intervention is one it symbolizes and marks the completeness of the past with the present, leaving room to look to the near future 100
