Introduction
Problem – Can’t seem to make your first dollar online. I can agree with whoever once said “Making your first dollar online is harder than the next 100”, logging into analytic/affiliate accounts and still seeing that $0.00 can be heartbreaking. When I first started affiliate marketing it took me months to see that first dollar but when I did it quickly made up for the struggle I encountered making it in the first place. I’ve created this short guide to explain a few methods which have been proven time and time again to help internet marketers earn their first dollar online. Make sure you read through the first section “choice to make” after that you’re going to be on your own reading through each method until you find one which you’re comfortable with. Good-luck and I look forward to seeing your new thread on Warrior Forum “I finally made my first $$ online!”. Sam White The following are 4 proven methods to earn you your first dollar online:

Choice To Make This section is of extreme importance - read through it with great detail. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably come from the Warrior Forum, read and contributed to threads, downloaded WSO’s, and possibly done your own outside research. You may have taken no action; you may have taken a lot. But you definitely have accumulated a lot of knowledge in the process. Essentially you have a choice to make: Are you going to go after short term profits which are harder to scale up (such as Ebay & Fiverr) or are you going to go after a longer term method which while won’t produce you instant profits, will give you greater profits in the future? Or if you’re more interested in longer term profits and consider yourself to have reasonable knowledge in making websites/Wordpress sites, keyword & competitor research and backlinking. Now is the time to combine your knowledge and create your very own niche website (covered in affiliate marketing).

Ebay A lot of people disregard Ebay seeing it as a place to buy junk rather than conduct a business; however more online marketers are seeing its benefits through the knowledge you gain in improving your copywriting skills, finding out what sells and getting experience in making your first money online. I too made my first dollar online selling on Ebay (old roller blades, Pokémon cards and DVDs all sell/sold well). Start by simply looking around your house to see what you have that could sell on Ebay (you’ll be surprised).
Step 1. Discover What do you no longer want that other people might? This could be an old DVD, mp3 player, cards and gadgets. Step 2. See what sells Now search for each item on Ebay to see if there are similar items available and check if they have any bids – if so what’s the price? What about in the buy it now section what’s the price on these goods? Jot down the prices and click through to a few of the auction items and add them to your watch list this will enable you to Download Your $97 Gift >>>> Here
The Blogging Institute come back later and check the selling price (also jot down). This will give you an idea of how much money you can expect. Step 3. A picture paints a thousand words Whatever you want to sell on Ebay it’s essential you have a photo of the exact item your selling, don’t copy other people’s photos! Take your own and upload them onto your computer. Step 4. Copywriting The copy of Ebay ads vary from excellent to poor. Ebay has its own norms and you should follow these while adding your own copy flair. Make sure your headline jumps out and attracts people to find out more, you should then try and build up their interest as much as possible through describing the features and how the prospect can benefit from them. You don’t have to include a call to action since Ebay already does this, so your attention should be on building up the interest on your product and why they need to buy your version rather than your competitors. Step 5. Pricing Pricing should be determined on recent sale prices, personally I’d choose the classic auction for your first few times selling (just make sure the auction ends at a reasonable time not 4am!). Step 6. See what sells Once you begin selling and sending your goods off you’ll start to receive positive feedback which will improve your reputation and chances of selling goods in the future. Now see what sells you can either explore drop shipping (listing goods on Ebay from an independent seller who posts them on your behalf) or go out and try to purchase the same goods at wholesale prices and sell them on, managing postage and customer queries yourself. So that’s Ebay wrapped up. it’s a great way to start since it introduces you to Copywriting, PayPal, customers and selling, use your profits wisely. Download Your $97 Gift >>>> Here

Fiverr Fiverr is an online marketplace where goods are sold (mostly information based goods) for $5. Recently internet marketers have been hopping onboard selling services such as Twitter posts, backlinking and article writing. This is great if you’re good at one angle of internet marketing but don’t want the added expense and time involved with a warrior special offer. However due to the low barriers to entry (cheap start up expenses) the competition is fierce with at least a handful of people offering the same services, the target audience is also less marketing focused and the Warrior Forum so don’t expect to earn as much here as you could on the Warrior forum.
Step 1. Your skills – are they selling? Think, what are you good at - search for it on Fiverr, look through the gigs and see if there are any thumbs up or testimonials (proof people are buying) on similar gigs. Try to find something which has little competition Download Your $97 Gift >>>> Here
The Blogging Institute but that competition has lots of thumbs ups and feedback, (this indicate there’s a gap in the market). Step 2. Create an account – and buy first. You should now create an account and link it to PayPal (create your PayPal account first, since it can take several days to verify). You now want to buy the gig you intend on selling from the most popular Fiverr member, this allows you to understand what you’ll be expected to deliver when you too offer the service. Step 3. Start with one gig and see what sells Now set up and run your gig, leave it a week and monitor the response (login daily) then begin to branch out and launch more gigs in the same niche, see what sells best and then focus around that topic (i.e. backlinking).

Warrior Forum The Warrior forum is de facto when it comes to offering web based services and along with Ebay & Fiverr is your best chance at making that dollar...fast. It costs $40 to post a thread in the warrior for hire section and $20 to bump, which while puts people off does remove a large chunk of competition you’d get elsewhere (Fiverr). A good reputation and strong knowledge of what your selling is essential on the Warrior forum, you must offer a decent product at a decent price.
Step 1.Testimonals and reputation I strongly suggest you have at least 60 posts before you start selling your service (in fact there’s a required minimum post count before you can send PM’s so this is essential). Your posts must be knowledgeable and helpful. Once you’ve written and become known on the Warrior Forum you should look within the Warriors for hire and look out for popular service providers selling the same services that you also wish to sell. Look within their testimonials and contact 20 people who’ve reviewed similar products stating you want to give them your services for free in return for an honest testimonial. Download Your $97 Gift >>>> Here
The Blogging Institute Step 2. Set up and add more testimonials Once you’ve received your testimonials set up your thread. Grab their attention with a great headline to draw your prospects in, tell them how your service can benefit them (sell benefits not features), include a call to action (PayPal buttons – you need a merchant account) and finally offer 10 free samples of your service (include this in your body and title) in return for testimonials. This will create a buzz around your service and may lead to your first few long term customers. Step 3. Remove freebies Now once all ten free samples, remove all mention of this from your thread (as otherwise you’ll keep getting people PMing you for a sample) make sure your ask for the testimonials if it takes them longer than a week to get back to you, incorporate these into your thread. But usually testimonials are left as a reply in your thread so you’ll automatically increase your reply count. Step 4. Sell what sells Determine what sells best and offer this at discounts to your existing customers for a quick sales boost.

Traditional Affiliate Marketing With all the new online marketing techniques coming out, it’s easy to forget just how effective traditional affiliate marketing still is. By affiliate marketing I mean recommending other peoples products and receiving a commission for each one sold, no Adsense or CPA here! This is a fantastic long term method that will also create a sellable asset, however this is also the hardest since there are so many elements that make up affiliate marketing. Step 1. – Keyword/Niche/Competitor Research Since these closely relate to each other, I’ve combined the three. The idea is that your website will be on a topic within a topic or niche such as dumbbells (within the bodybuilding niche) so you could have pages on sand filled dumbbells, iron cast dumbbells and so on. In Google keyword tool (exact match! Make sure you tick this box it’s not ticked by default) your keyword should have at least 800 searches a month. In Google (in quotes so “your keyword”) ideally should have less than 30,000 competing results (or 60,000 for the main keyword) however depending on how strong the first page competition is you can bend that number somewhat (use Market Samurai to determine this).

Step 2. – Content & Internal SEO & Affiliate links You need at least 15 content filled pages (I advise using Wordpress since you’ll find adding in code quicker since it uses CSS). Make sure your keyword has a density of 1-2% in content of at least 500 words and your keyword (exact no plurals ect) is in H1 tags, in the page name/title, bolded, italicised, underlined and linked. Add in a text affiliate link in the beginning of the page, at the bottom and in a linked picture (usually these are provided by the product creator) make sure the text link offers the prospect a potential benefit. Step 3. – External SEO Now make sure you’ve some tracking this can be done via CPanel logs (through your hosting account) or Google Analytics. I’ve found it much easier to set up backlinks as I complete each page, only set up the backlinks once you’ve completely finished each page. 1. Digg the page (this will get it indexed fast), 2. Then make that same content into an article and submit it (do this for each page) 3. Make it into a video with a backlink to your site and submit it to YouTube, 4. Participate in some niche forums with your homepage URL, 5. Write a press release and submit this, 6. Finally write some comments on high PR websites.

The Blogging Institute Step 4. – Tracking Track your pages traffic and see how it performs in the search engines (you can do this for free by using: http://www.seoserp.com/web_tools/google_top_1000_serps_ch ecker.asp) build backlinks until all your pages reach the first page of Google. Do this and you’ll be sure to make a sale on your site, make sure your spelling is up together and your site looks professional.
