“We shape our buildings: therefore they shape us. - Winston Churchill
Welcome to the p or t folio of my Interior Design projec t s
Growing up, I ’ve always admired ever y asp ec t of design: Whether it was fashion or architec ture. Through my education at the K irk wood Interior Design program, I have learned that designing a space is more than creating a beautiful area. It ’s thought fully ref ining the way a room can be designed to prop erly func tion yet, still be visually satis f ying to the user while addressing the health, safet y, and welfare through qualit y design.

Description: The goal for this project was to create a pediatriction clinic located in Scottsdale, Arizona Concept: Our approach to designing this space was inspired by healing gems because, people go to clinics to heal. With the gem concept we had the ability to incorperate several colors and geometrical shapes. Along with the healing element we incorporated several biofilic components to help promote healing. We also wanted to create a space for all ages from babies to teens with an easy circulation giving it a light airy feeling.
