PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Southeastern live well center project consisted on an 80,000 SF County services building plus a 400+ parking structure which was commissioned as a design build pursuit. The campus would have sat at the gateway into the Encanto neighborhood at the corner of Euclid Avenue & Market Street, east of downtown San Diego and it serves as a hub for public services, education, and healthy living. The project was design focused on engaging the community, while educating about the abundant resources ava i l a b l e t o h e l p p e o p l e t r u l y L i ve We l l . 6

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project scope included designing and documenting approximately 3,000 sq. ft of instructional laboratory space for the CTE Culinary arts program in an existing 6,127 sq. ft. modular structure that was a formerly used as a wrestling room.

“While usually massive and not inviting, a City Hall should be transparent enough for the residents but keeping the level of privacy that city authorities require. This thesis proposes a new City Hall that breaks down boundaries between communities and power as well as create a visual legacy for the City of El Centro”.

The Interpretive Center, located at Rancho Mission Viejo is reserve that promotes the preservation and enhance of lands for ecological, educational and recreational uses, between others. Located in South Orange County, the site includes approximately 20,868 acres and it is managed by the Rancho Mission Viejo Land Trust, a non-profit organization. With these premises, the environment and landscape of Rancho Viejo Reserve as well as the Frank Gehry's barn and existing building inspired in the process of designing the project for RMV Reserve Interpretive Center. The site allows us to experiment with the functional need and constructive solution that generate a design appropriately for the location.
