HOTEL LOGO DEVELOPMENT
&
concept statement Larimer Hotel is located in the LoDo community of downtown Denver, Colorado. The execution is to design an environment that envelopes the background of William Larimer Jr., who was a great part of the development of Denver. Throughout the past there were many different experiences that will be reflected subliminally in the design, such as contemporary wheel designs, dark wood tones and leathers to feel a sense of masculinity. This design will offer a various range of spaces and activities that will bring in the community of Lower Downtown Denver today, as well as promote a sense of community of the past.

COURTYARD
concept The restaurant/bar that lies within Larimer Hotel will be named Fer Steakhouse inspired by the assortment of meats downtown Denver has a wide love for. Fer is the spelt pronunciation for the word “Fare meaning an array of one specific type of food. In this case ladies and gentlemen, Fer will be serving would favorite choice of meat this evening. This area will be open to the lobby while having a hostess for convenience, and giving guests a casual place to dine or drink. It will be open to the public with a large courtyard bar to attract a wider audience including both locals and travelers. A large private dining will be located centrally to reserve in advance for business privacy or rehearsal celebrations. The menu will consist of a wide range of meats including charcuterie boards for causal snackers along with more filling cuisine options. Fer Steakhouse will carry the vintage yet industrial theme with tufted leather seating, steel accents along the bar, and black and white tile. concept The Highline Hurst architectural firm, located in the Pennzoil Place in Houston, Texas, will incorporate sleek, modern office furniture in an open office layout that will be mixed with straight edges and interesting patterns based on psychological research. As a designer my driving force in this Architecture Firm Project is this mass expansion in modernism and simplicity of space that makes it efficient for all the users. I want my design to reflect sleekness and a new approach to the workforce while keeping as much nature such as light and greenery in spaces as possible. The lounges will provide an escape that incorporates leather, fake greenery ceilings, and natural woods. In Highline Hurst one will find light wood tones mixing with dark expresso tones with lighter task chairs and accessories.
