I am a willing and creative personality, I grew up in the province of Pangaio Kavala in Greece. My village, Akropotamos, is located in northern Greece and has a population of up to 700 people. So from a young age I was always curious to see more of the world, leaving behind some of my security and my safe zone. Unfortunately this didn't work out at first due to some family issues. Fortunately, we are our choices, and opportunities and ideas always come if you look for them, even if you're on a different path.
After finishing school, I moved to Athens, where I studied interior architecture and product design at the Athens Institute of Technology. Having been in Athens for almost 10 years, I finished my degree, participated in many extracurricular activities and also worked in the architecture and entertainment industry, from architectural studios to cocktails and wineries.
During the summer seasons of 2015 to 2018, i worked in various customer service positions in freight shops, caffes and beach bars. My time there endowed me with qualifications such as patient, skills to proper manage complains and demands ass well as i learned to make quick desitions that bear my responsibility. I develop my communication skills and excell in creating a friendly and costumer-centric atmoshere. Reading body language, quick analysis of the enviroment im in and intuition are weapons i didnt realy knew i had, before then.
I finally moved to my hometown, where I have been living for the past 3-4 years. Here I focused mainly on my career, working in an architectural studio and in a big company, I can use all my previous skills and develop even more. Now I am in a place where I feel confident that I will achieve my dream and I am not thinking about it so practically. I empowered myself with maturity, professionalism and all the previous virtues and im ready to hear my innerself and follow a different path of creativity in Fashion Design.

A vintage futuristic mind with a sustainable conscience and a subconsience that flows between practicity ans surrealism. In love with every form af art, and always in search of the hidden beauty. History, culture and old classical techniques play a large role in conception and later birth of every creation.
In the Kourtidis group of companies (Real Estate/Construction/Hospitality), I developed completely new skills, due to the large size of the company and the employees, I needed to become more competitive and establish myself as an experienced professional. Some of my responsibilities were to be responsible for the layout and organization of some of the events, preparation of architectural plans for the site. I was also the creative director for architectural, administrationphotography. I helped in various projects of the Marketing and CRM team.
In the office of Kiki Fitneoglou, I mainly dealt with smaller-scale projects for which I was fully responsible, under the supervision of the architect. We created mainly single-family houses in rural areas, for families who would use them as a first residence. There the knowledge I had gained from my previous work was assimilated and put into practice.
In the office of Mr. Dionysis Sotovikis, I completed my practical training and continued to work there in the position of junior architect. I participated in a large competition for luxury homes. in works on the supervision of a house that was being built in the center of Athens.
As well as I took part in the completion of stunning designs for a hotel complex on a Cycladic island. I went through many production stages, while in parallel I had undertaken the creation and completion of an issue presenting the works of the architectural office.

This hotel was designed and built according to Cycladic architecture and each of its rooms has the special characteristics of a village, it is made of local materials such as marble, emery and plaster, thus creating a miniature of Naxos.

Small-scale permit for the renovation of a country house in Ofryni Beach, Kavala. A swimming pool was added and small changes were made to the building's environmental space. All the rooms were redesigned in accordance with the plumbing and mechanical plans.

THE DOLPHIN.
"The Dolphin" is the new ambitious project of Kourtidis Group in the city of Kavala.It is the first building designed and reconstructed based on sustainable architecture, offering innovations and unique benefits to its owners and the environment.
Each of the resulting 61 residences of The Dolphin will have an underground storage and a parking space. The building will be served by two staircases and two elevators and will have an underground utility room. It will consist of 19 residential units on the 1st floor and 21 units on the 2nd & 3rd floors.
In total it has 7 different types of apartments and a breakdown is provided in the floor plans of the presentation.
It is located in Perigiali, just 130 meters from the sea, in one of the most privileged areas of Kavala on its eastern side, which will be highlighted by the largescale redevelopment that has been launched for the next period.

THESIS FOR D.E.I.
Reuse and reconstruction of PPC's steam power plant.
The part under study of the steam power station, in Neo Faliro, Athens, consists of three parallel buildings in contact with different lengths that communicate with each other by the intermediate walls.
There are two main uses of the buildings and a third comes as a connecting link of the previous ones.
The first use is the creation of a co-working space that will house private offices for long-term rent als from new companies and start ups. A shortterm rentalswill be for dedicated desks, as well as for daily rentals there will be hot desks, so it can cover all kinds of profettionals.
In the second building, a hostel will be created, where the majority of the rooms are shared and free to rent for everyone.
The connecting link of the above will be a shared "square".
The drawings of the design were clear and simple on a plan level, so that the routes between the spaces are easy and distinct for all visitors.
A clear communication between the three buildings is created. the theme of the design was to resemble a piping circuit that has a logical sequence.
The central idea of this work was th "Boiler" of new ideas. Correlating the past use of the building with the metaphorical concept of the birth of new ideas.

The Roof Garden with a strong green footprint, with unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea and spaces conducive to congregation, will be a unique rooftop garden. The urban design of the rooftop was redesigned by me!
In addition, the complex will have a 24-hour concierge service (maintenance, cleaning, mail, security, etc.), as well as an outdoor modern gym in the Roof Garden.

Workshop Dionisis Sotovikis is an architectural practice, founded in 2005 in Athens, Greece , as a space for creation and exhibition. We have designed and implemented a multitude of projects all across Greece and abroad, in a wide spectrum of fields and in different textures and scales. During the past few years, we have become actively involved with the design and construction of hotels. At the same time, we are publishing “Themata”, an annual review on architecture, art and all aspects of human creative expression, in an effort to showcase the constant points of reference that remain unaltered in time.
During Alexandra’s period of internship at our office, she became actively involved in a variety of projects and in different stages of design. She worked on concept design and final design documents of private residences in Sifnos island, construction documents of a private threestorey residence in the center of Athens, the concept design of a large residential development competition, as well as smaller scale projects, such as apartment renovation concept designs. Additionally, she was responsible for the setting up and design of a book, which our practice intends to publish in the near future.
Alexandra presented a strong and positive personality and was consistent, communicative, responsible and eager to learn and to develop the set of skills required, in order to be member of a qualified architectural team, which compensated for her lack of experience.
