design concept & theme silver lining With all the negativity impacts onto the Malaysian population siince the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, of-age adults getting vaccinations to prevent contracting the virus/minimise the mortality rate proves as a silver lining in the dark cloud that has been cast upon us.
oriental To create a peaceful environment as opposed to typical vaccination centres, the Oriental style will be implemented to the design of the space. The occupants of the space can have a sense of relaxation and forget about the stresses and strains of life in the outside world temporarily while getting their vaccination. The concept is associated with calm and neutral colours, as well as clean lines mixing with greenery to balance the positive energy flow in the interior space.

In Phase 03, we were required to come up with our own design proposals for a community health centre based on an existing building, whish is the Lotus Five Star State Cineplex in Petaling Jaya. On the left are my final rendered layout plans for both the ground floor and first floor and below is the exploded axonometric of the proposed design. The vaccination booths are situated in the heart of the building as seen from the layout plan and the axonometric view. Played around with circular elements in this design to incorporate the Oriental Silver Lining concept and using a neutral tone colour palette with a hint of greenery for that extra bit of rawness and serenity.
