Tommaso Spadolini has reached a milestone in his career ... over 30 years of activity. Today more than 200 yachts that navigate the world seas bear his signature.
The studio’s working methods set the scene. We’ve built up an ongoing professional relationship with all our clients, they’ve often become our friends so it is that often the best ideas can even develop over dinner, with a sketch drawn on a paper tablecloth.
We use the most advanced computer technologies and provide the client with a full array of renderings - 2D and 3D, tank and 3D simulations, fabric and exclusive finishes selection, choices of designer decor accessories, and, of course, all the required technical drawings. We take all our projects very seriously, a small tender, a production yacht or a custom super yacht are all important and unique to us. Tommaso and his design team are committed into developing solutions with attention to detail, technical innovation and an eye to the environment in order to deliver distinctive, “green” and successful projects. We always work very closely with clients, both Owners and/or Shipyards to translate their dreams into reality.
Tommaso, for years now, has develops projects for residential and commercial architecture. He designed and produced ful projects for: marinas and non-commercial ports, villas and apartments, complex renovation of apartment buildings, shopping centers and public and government buildings. Most of these works are carried out in co-planning and close collaboration with the Architectural Studio of his brother Guido.
Design Studio Spadolini is able to assist clients with the selection of Italian fully qualified interiors sub-contractors for the custom built and on board assembly of all the interiors and decks furnishings and decor. We follow all the numerous stages of realization and oversee the work in progress applying strict quality control. The many years of field experience allow us to help our clients in caring out complex projects in the ... most smooth possible way.
The studio’s mission is to turn ideas and dreams into world cruising bespoke yachts. “I see the design of a new yacht like a new Fontana di Trevi where water falls down gently in a soft manner. A yacht where contact with the prime natural element that surrounds her is always present even in the initial sketches. For me a boat must live the sea. The sea is, naturally, around and under the yacht but must be felt and lived with harmony by the owner and the guests.” Listening and asking for feedback is vital to understanding a client’s dreams. Matching his dream to his lifestyle means that all proposals from that point forward are tailored for him, with his personal input. “I feel it is my job to interpret an owner’s wish list, keeping in mind that there is still a construction budget to respect”.

Numptia is made up of continuous longitudinal, vertical and transverse curved lines, this allows a contact with the sea by ways of gentle sloping of the bridges downwards toward the water in a cascade of curves.

Prima’s interior design utilizes a geometric style to emphasize the comfort and practicality throughout her large internal spaces. Leit Motiv is the theme of the Prima’s bright ceiling colours, intersected by darker oak wood panels alongside the brown of the Italian walnut floors and inserts of Calcutta Oro marble.

ASLEC 4
The exterior design of ASLEC 4 represent an evolution in the design history of the Spadolini tradition, this yacht is still basically formed by 4, 5 simple lines that gives the yacht a feel of balance and clean lines, with ASLEC 4, Tommaso Spadolini added a strait bow and a look-a-like ship funnel giving an almost aggressive look to the yacht, that, with time, will make this yacht a classical yacht.

FOLLOW ME V
Her interior is designed by Tommaso Spadolini to be timeless and features a classical theme with Cheery wood used for its warmth combined with cream lacquered panels and precious marbles. The furniture and curtains are covered in several different shades of light colours giving the yacht a homely feeling.

APREA 45 “SMERALDO”
The concept of this new model is inspired by the design style of the 50s, from the bow a little ‘retro to lines of the deckhouse tighter and less rounded. In this revision are placed details, such as the line of the mahogany finish on the side, lower than in the previous or the confirmation of the sofa at the bow.

GIGAGI
A COMPLETE REFIT OF A 1994 MAGNUM 70’
In less than 4 months an incredible achievement has been made; a tired mid 90’s Magnum 70 has been completely refitted and re-powered. The overall external lines were saved but many new design details were added through out. The design sign that accompanies the entire interior of the yacht is given by two materials with different functions: one is the hand selected polished mahogany maccasar treated 100 gloss, the other is the dark brown woven leather used for all the cabinet doors. Much attention is given to the lighting, a sophisticated home automation-domotic lighting system allows multiple scenarios and scenery.
