Maximum Energy on lowest space. This REO-Braking Resistor is very compact at high power. The resistors are designed for a power on time up to max. 5%. Smaller duty cycles must be designed by customer specifications. Versions up to IP 65. High - impedance on failure. <h4>Note: Permanent over-temperatures of > 200 K may impair protection rating.</h4> The ratings apply for 100 % duty cycle and free access and exit of cooling air. In general: Is the ambient temperature higher than 40 °C, the continuous power must be reduced by 5 % per 10 K temperature rise.
