La vie en bleu The French racing blue in a bottle, embodying the elegant essence that is Bugatti. Inspired by forms, artistry and sculpture prominent in Bugatti automotive design throughout history, emanating nostalgia through modern surface design.
SURFACE MODEL Using my sketches for the ñôçķÝÄ÷Ȥ # þ÷ÄÀ ÷þôÍ°¼Ä ÝçÍü÷Ȥ boundary surfaces and ÷đÄÄñ÷ üç ¼ôÄ°üÄ üÐÄ ĸçđÑãÎ complex geometry, ensuring continuity between surfaces. The model was made solid and split to create lid and body, which could be shelled.

BEATS WIDGET Promotional Beats headphone tidy designed for mass manufacture by injection moulding. Design a plastic ‘widget’ for a brand which could be used to promote their goods or services. The design should be capable of injection moulding so large numbers may be produced at low cost. 4 weeks individual design. 6 weeks group manufacture.
MOULD TOOL DEVELOPMENT The number of inserts were minimised to ease manufacture and allow quick and ÄÍķ¼ÑÄãü âçþÝÀ üççÝ °÷÷Äâ»ÝēȤ disassembly and sprew extraction. Constraints included: Two 150x100x25mm aluminium blocks Only 2D machining available 28g polymer shot To ensure the design was plausible for ÑãÛļüÑçãȤ # ¼çãÀþ¼üÄÀ ñçÝēâÄô ĸçđ simulations of the cavity throughout the project.

BEATS HEADPHONE TIDY This promotional widget provides the user with a neat and effective method of coiling their headphone leads without the hassle of a tangled mess. The widget works by threading the lead through the central ‘spool’, encasing this Ñã üÐÄ ÍôѼüÑçã ķü çþüÄô ñçÝēñôçñēÝÄãÄ case. When the spool is turned, the lead is coiled around inside the case, protected and tidy. The widget features strong branding from the central logo on top of the spool and from the two-tone colour scheme.
