New York City in the days following 9/11 photograpy by Alex Wilson
In the fall of 2001 I was in my second year of graduate school studying photography at Syracuse University. When the planes hit the World Trade Center towers my first thoughts were how I could get down to New York City to photograph what was happening. It wasn’t until several days later when one of my classmates, Christian Fuchs, and I made the trip to see how the city was coping with the tragedy. The following images are what I saw.
