SURABAYA MUSIC COMMUNITY CENTER Final Architectural Design Studio The task of this project began with general issues about the development of the Surabaya music community interests which accompanied by the intensity frequent of music concerts in Surabaya, which have contrary to the musical facili es in Surabaya. The design came with idea of crea ng integrity design among indie music community and professional music entertainment which integrated with amount of public space ameni es. Surabaya music community center have facili es including concert hall, maximum amount of open spaces and amphiteathre as a connector between indie music community center and professional concert hall. With all building is covered with exposed fabricated concrete wall, the main goal is to be an iconic building which bringing t h e s u s t a i n a b l e a s p e c t s i n M a y j e n d S u n g ko n o , w h i l e a l s o interac ng music community through integrated ameni es.

RESIDENTIALS

SITE POSITIONS AND STRATEGY At the masterplan, it is possible to no ce the posi on of site in rela on with the whole environment around the loca on. It is immediately show the composi on diers from the rest of residen al buildings. Since the chosen area is a mainly trade and service area. It has been chosen because the exis ng site is a nega ve space that has no owner within 10 years, to change the nega ve space into the posi ve one as a environmental c o n n e c o n b e t w e e n t h e f u n c o n . The new proposed project aim to build a community center, with the idea of an eco buildings. In the following masterplan is confronted with the actual situa on. It is the evident how the project has a strong impact on the area. for two reason, the exis ng site was a nega ve space, that will decreasing the density of district. and change the nega ve space into func onal building (music community center) so that can be a new iconic that connec ng between func ons on the district, such as mall, residen al buildings, and educa onal buildings. The site has 2,5 Ha in total, and has 13500 sqm in total. The masterplan aims at the total 3 major buildings, which is the concert hall building, and 2 community center building that consists musical ameni es i.e studios, store, and cafes.

CULTURAL STUDY The design idea was came from public cultural values which transformed asmassing and conceptual design. Cultural itself including two aspects o he city, which is the public behavior and arts cultural. Concert hall area specified as private area, which commercial yet for specific professional music event. This concert hall facili es was expected to accomodate the people who have music interests.

Music community center as minor facili es of the concert hall which have some facili es for musicians. The main func on of community area if for accomodate the musicians and indie ar sts in Surabaya with studios and cafe which divided by several music genres.

NUSANTARA II PARIPURNA JAKARTA (DPR/MPR) 6th Semester Architectural Design Studio This project is a 6th semester major task, which also based on architectural contest about reconstruc on of DPR MPR building, Jakarta on 2015. The main purpose is to reconstruct the parpurna II building with considering philosophycal aspect of fundamental na on and come along with sustainable building design including low energy building inside of it which using smart secondary facade, just incase to welcoming 100 years independence day of Indonesia.

PLAZA ARAYA & CRIXALIS TOWER 5th Semester Architectural Design Studio Plaza Araya and Crixalis tower is one of mixed use building that own a 20000 sqm, the site is located in Malang, Jawa Timur. The building came from major issue about workneeds facili es in that city yet redeveloping the exis ng of plaza araya. Plaza araya and crixalis tower masterplan is an area that consist of shopping mall, MICE, and rental oďŹƒce. The building integrated with smart low energy building which using panel and ver cal vegeta on to op mize the environment.

Since its linear with sun path, passive design would be easy to reach because the smallest span of the building located in east - west side Since the orienta on of building opposi ng the sun path, the passive design we took is reduc ng the sun radia on with service, so that can be useful to resist the sun radia on ORIE

besides using reec ve glass as a secondary skin, it also have panel photovoltaic (PV) with 100 WP (Wa Power) which installed on the side of curtain wall of the tower, podium wall, and roo op. In addi on to gain aesthe c facade, yet have green building concept on its aspect.

Oval shape of the tower have approximately 50 degree toward the north, and that shape literally as a reduc on from sun radia on, so the hea ng force will not distributed among to all side of mass. From this oval massing, indirectly will affect to less energy using of building.

BUILDING STRUCTURES The tower has 2 cores as a utility structures (lift), despite that, 2 lift core has another function to optimize the transport effectivity within office. Another structures that consist is rigid frame structure, bored pile to sustaining the podium, pile cap to sustaining the office tower. And also using dilatation structure to anticipating the landform changes.

GELORA 4 HOUSE RENOVATION 2017 Housing Project (on progress) This project is located in Gelora no.4 Jenggolo, Sidoarjo. With consist 500 sqm in total, the owner wanted to change and revitaling their house as mixed use func on as cafe, and studio music. The main idea of this house is thinking how to link the whole func on in between one main circula on, with natural touch to simulate the sustainability process.

Progress Progress on March 2017. The roof type changed to planar type by request from the owner. Using bo les to build some aesthe c shape of the fence since the front area as a cafe.

Bo le concept The bo les itself represent the aesthe c and natural feel of the cafe. using up to 400 bo les including the spotlight lamp to make an eyecatching fence shape to get some interests from visitor of the cafe, to gain the intensity of visitor.

WNY HOUSE DESIGN PROJECT 2016 Conceptual Housing Project This project is located in Klete, Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. Consist 250sqm in total. Owner want to build a house with minimalist concepts, with some natural approachment to make a cozy house to live with.

Main concept The main idea came from integrity of circula on. And how to make a living-life circula on concept, which make the owner relax when they at home. From those problems, I make the important transi on area as a main focus. the transi on area is a pond with pedestal that connec ng living room and dining room, with viewable access from living room, dining room, and bedroom. So that the owner can enjoying the pond.

RENOVATION HOUSE TAMAN TIARA 2015 Conceptual Housing Project This project is located in Taman Tiara Cluster C-23, Sidoarjo. Consist 300sqm in total. Owner want to renova ng the exis ng house with minimalist concept and also want to renova ng with 1 floor addi on.

Accent on Design Using the minimalist concept with some accent on the ladder. I using ying ladder concept to make an interac ve design to make the owner enjoying their house view. Also using bamboo as barrier betweeng living room and guest room. All of those conceptual are try to including the natural concepts as well.

The rectangular shape itself generally looks like puzzle with the ini als as a piece of puzzle. Puzzle itself from metaphore of the role of architects and realtor it self, which is building home for clients.
