If you aspire to become a professional or are looking to take the next step up in your current career then a senior managers degree programme is for you. Flexible learning in partnership with Wolverhampton University and funded by the apprenticeship levy. These courses are applicable to leaders and managers in both large and SME organisations and our highly practical MBA or BA Hons will provide immediate value to both you and your organisation. > WORKING WITH YOUR TEAM ‘Using Emotional Intelligence’ Who is it for? EMPATHY is the most important leadership skill needed today! Relating to others is vital in today’s workplace. Whether you are the office junior, the chief executive or anything in between, this course will increase your Emotional Intelligence, helping you to identify and manage your own emotions and the emotions of others and show you the way to greater success. What will I learn? Management and leadership effectiveness can be improved through a manager or leader recognising their own capabilities and strengths. Psychology can be applied at work to understand and manage individuals, teams and workplace issues. Emotional Intelligence is now recognised as a key factor influencing high performance at work. Suitable for anyone who would benefit from necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to be effective in their role. What will I learn? To examine the purpose of business and what your particular business is looking to achieve and deliver. Recognise the changed role, purpose and requirements when transitioning from operator/worker through to manager/supervisor. > 7 WEEK ONLINE LINKEDIN PROGRAMME Our online course consists of 7 modules delivered over 7 weeks. When LinkedIn is used strategically it can be a major asset to your business and we have created a number of tools for you to use to help through each module. In each module you will find, templates, tools and information that is specifically related to that module and additional templates you will need throughout the course. > MIDDLE LEVEL PROGRAMME > THE WORKING ORGANISATION Who is it for? Those managing departments or teams who take responsibility for delivering business objectives through other people. This course provides a manager with the opportunity to discover and discuss ways to enhance their management and leadership approaches, whilst further considering ways to improve performance in their function or team. A variety of tools and techniques are used to examine the different aspects of leadership and management, and the challenges faced when attempting to deliver effective work performance through individuals and teams taking account of team dynamics and team development. What will I learn? To examine models and approaches that can further develop the skills and behaviours of effective managers and leaders. This course respects prior management and leadership experience whilst enhancing effectiveness. This course allows managers the opportunity to discover ways to markedly enhance the overall performance of their department, function or team and that of the organisation. Managers will examine the different elements to setting and delivering consistently high performance through different performance management systems and robust methods to uncover current performance strengths and shortcomings. Reflection on learning from the module will then be used to set out future performance targets that are actionable and measurable. > FLEXIBLE APPRENTICESHIPS Developing new and existing staff The world of apprenticeships has changed and age is no longer a barrier, nor is previous educational attainment. This, together with the introduction of Leadership and Management Apprenticeships means that you can utilise the ‘levy pot’ to develop your Leaders and Managers. However, if you do not contribute to the levy you can still access funded training and it will only cost you 5% of the full grant. > CHARTERED MANAGER DEGREE APPRENTICESHIP Level 6 - BA (Hons) Business Management The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are, or who aspire to be, professional managers with responsibility for people, projects, operations and/or services. Over the course of the three years of study on the programme, you will study a diverse portfolio of business-relevant topics including: • • • •
