Through my work I look for a reflection of my intimacy and others intimacy. Self portrait has been a very usefull tool in this quest for recognition. I am always intrigued by persons who live out of the social squemes. I like to acompany my work with some landscapes.

This series is about a specific group who lives in Monterrey. I consider Monterrey a very closed society. I like to take pictures of my friends because they are in some way breaking or revealing to all values we have been thought, most of us are from a religious school . With this pictures I feel like If I was opening a window to some very private moments of intimacy. Sometimes I make them pose and sometimes its just the moment.

This project was kind of a challenge to me. It was made in Poland in the city of Lodz during a 5 day workshop with Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris. I choose Marishka and Krishia because I saw there orange hair and was really courious of there relationship. It was a great experience photographing them in there day to day. We ended up being friends. And even though I didn´t spoke polish, nor they english or spanish, we could also communicate with signs and noises. It was a lot of fun. Everyday I spent with them and getting to know their suns and nieces was even more interesting for me. Their relationship was very intimate, even though they didn´t lived together.

Kena is a neighbor which I made friend this year and start to go to her house to photography her almost every day. She has recently lost a brother who had the same situation. It is amazing how she can let me in her world, which she believes she is only six year old .
