Why could Bogotá never build a metro?
Introduction It's known for everyone that big capital cities around the world have a metro. Why could Bogotá never build a metro? Since the 50s, Bogotá´s metro was a concern of the mayors, but corruption and particular interests made a city for buses… until today. The Buses system has failed in the aim of transport with dignity, punctuality, and reliability for the 12 million people of the area, so we must advance to the next step: the metro. In this order of ideas, there is a disjunction: subway or aerial metro?
In this paper, we will try to explain why the metro is the real improvement and specifically the subway.

Insecurity and “free riders” First, the subway doesn't have room for thieves because being underground, only has an entrance which could be easily monitored; the aerial metro, could be a big bridge crossing the city with all the known issues. Also, this kind of entrance should be safe, not only for the mentioned issue but also for controlling the free riders.
Environmental impact Bogotá is a visually chaotic city, the non-territorial planning has allowed the structures and constructions not to have a strict control, reason why you can find sectors with modern buildings next to invasions or unpleasant sectors. It is not only dangerous, but it sometimes gives the city a neglected appearance. The underground metro, among other positive factors, reveals a cleaner city, free of structures that visually interfere, just as just

As we can see, there is no perfect solution and every improvement has its cost.
Corruption budget One factor that can negatively affect the construction of an underground metro may be corruption, as a cultural, political and social factor in Colombia.

Despite I am a lawyer, I have mechanics heart. For this paper, I would like to work in mobility problems in big cities. Since one crazy German called Carl Benz had the idea of putting a little engine in the middle of a small horseless carriage, the world fell in love with cars. The idea that one common person could travel more than 100 kilometers in a day, seduced the public and inspired a lot of freedom dreams. In 1888, Carl’s wife, took the machine, (in a hidden way) and as a brave person full of determination, traveled alone for 106 kilometers. The muse that inspired Carl and drove the car was Bertha. She, as a twin soul of the god of the cars, knew about the machine, and when Carl received a telegram informing that she was fine, reported to Mr. Benz a few issues that she fixed and ideas to improve the first Mercedez-Benz. I can’t imagine Carl’s face regarding the telegram!

Bertha and Carl Benz: She used Benzine to feed the smoking beast; a petrol component that was unfriendly for the air. A lot of time has passed, but mankind had tasted the sweet wind in its hair and of course, the money in their pockets. Cars arrived to stay, and petrol was the perfume for many years. Today, the pollution as a result of the combustion has become a real problem. What should be done in order to fix this problem? Scientists and geniuses of all kinds have tackled the problem and the solutions are various. Some unwise people think that cars should be exterminated from the face of the earth. I would like to see them walking to their house for 10 kilometers or carrying 30 tons of cement on their backs. But many other options have been investigated and I´ll describe them in a pedagogical way.

Doctor may be viewing your patient's vital signs while operating on you; a tourist can raise her camera and find points of interest in the city she visits, pointing to the places she wants to visit; Or an operator can carry out maintenance work in a machine room, obtaining information on where each component is located, simply pointing with her tablet, and without having to consult a complicated map. Augmented reality allows this and many other things, here we open a small window to this interesting world.
Augmented reality in tourism Building an augmented reality experience applied to tourism is essential for the success of a destination. It is not a secret that our country is experiencing constant growth in the tourism sector, and it is that we do not want to boast, but like other cities in the world, we have a lot to offer our millions of visitors every year. This growth is not only due to the great cultural interest and the great leisure offer that exists, but also to the speed at which technology progresses and, in particular, augmented reality.
