STUDIO BRIEF 1: Project Proposal Project Rationale What do you intend to do and why?

I want to communicate the effects and impact that we society are having on the environment and all its habitats through applying illustrations, displayed on a variety of homeware items; ceramics, wallpaper, interiors, fabrics. Ideally I would intend to apply the designs to sustainable, eco friendly products. Communicating these issues through homeware will create more awareness in day to day lives. Specifically, I want to relate my practice to promoting vertical forests. Stefano Boeri an Italian architect has designed and has further ambitions to enforce the presence of these O2 admitting towers. Not only are they creating a more sustainable environment, but bringing nature into the city.
