Extensive thumb nailing and initial sketches has been real revelation for me in this project, really pushing myself to generate as many ideas as possible has resulted in better outcomes. It has helped me identify more effective compositions, its is also a constructive way of experimenting further and combing ideas.
A turning point for me within this module was Pushing my boundaries in the printing productions. I feel I have really excelled in my digital productions. I have identified many new ways of creating more authorship in my work by extenuating my practices as a hand crafted illustrator. I have learnt that transferring designs into digital, not allows many more paths of creativity, but also comes with more professional imagery.
Throughout this module I have overcome all worries of producing imagery through print productions. Even exploring the methods of mono printing have increased my understanding of textures and silhouettes. Having to think less literally and figuratively in my practice has created a new more open minded way of production.
