How times have we had an important task, but could never complete it because we felt bored right in the middle of doing it? Boredom can strike anybody, and there are no explainable causes for it; you just feel bored. But with conscious effort from your side, you can ensure that boredom is far away. Analyze What You Want To Do When you feel bored, just ask yourself-“what do I really want to do now?� Finding the answer to this question is the key to overcoming boredom. Be honest and try to come out with answers that can improve your productivity. Everybody would love to watch tv all the time, but is that really what you want to do when you have the time to do something productive? Accept That You Have To Complete When you feel bored in the middle of an important assignment or when you are studying for a test (whatever floats your boat), take a break. You need to admit that you do not have a choice but to complete the task at hand, if you want to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Turn your work into a game. Try to set a time


limit and see if you can race to finish the task before time. Treat yourself with something if you accomplish the mission. You will never feel bored again. Learn a new language, read a book, join your local trekking-club and go on an adventure, play a sport, learn an instrument.
