Journey OBJECTIVE This was my capstone project and the objective was to show and communicate our ideas and design through storytelling and designing a concept space for the user of our choosing. CONCEPT To create a space where youth/children are able to inhabit a space where they can have the freedom to discover and grow without the pressures of society but genuinely enter a space where discovery comes from tapping into their own curiosity. The design intent is to create a journey that encourages an individual to make their own choices as they discover their own story using exposure and enclosure and interlocking as the two qualifiers. The type of vehicle will be a youth center where access to resources will be important for all users and visitors. My experience working with youth has influenced my project vehicle in designing a space that encourages exploration and discovery allowing youth to discover their interests outside of a school setting. In this vehicle there will be several nonprofit and after school programs that provide these resources for youth to find what interests them.

The floor plan of how a guest can create their own journey throughout the baths and can choose to sit in the public baths or private baths gives the user the freedom to wander through the different spaces however they’d like.
The spiral staircase inside Villa Savoye creates a unique user experiential transition through the spaces. The ramp is a more gradual circulation where the user doesn’t notice the separation of levels. Havign different vehicles to transport the user forces them to experience teh space differently every time.
Unite d’Habitation was successful in creating interlocking spaces within each other that are still connected by a main hallway. By interlocking these apartments with each other Le Corbusier minimizes the amount of hallway that is needed and focuses more on the amount of living space.
Seeing the sizes of the spaces and the types of spaces that Opificio uses is useful for me to incorporate social spaces that allow for people to interact. This part is important in helping the youth to see what they can improve in their own community and to hear what other people have to say.

Voyage OBJECTIVE The objective for this project was to collaborate and come up with an innovative banking experince for Capital One to bring a new experience for their customers. CONCEPT "Voyage by Capital One" is a bank and travel agency. Here you can accomplish your dreams than meeting at a bank that not only advises your finances but your travels too. The concept is a hub and spoke idea - the main hub is a bank and the travel advisory location. Ideally, it is in a city center with a diverse community. The spokes are placed internationally, places like Peru, Chile, New Zealand, and Morocco. One spoke is a kiosk to make it easy to rent an electric camper van or rental car, placed near an airport or with other rental car lots. Another spoke is a "refuel station" that is a convenient store with charging stations for your vehicle and a private room to lay low. The last spoke is an airbnb.

Foldable Bed Prototype OBJECTIVE Collaborate and address the needs of a specific type of shelter where lodging is provided only overnight. Beds and belongings must be packed and stored away each morning. When the occupants arrive in the evening mattresses are rolled out on the floor and their few belongings are placed next to their bed. Each morning mattresses are rolled up and belongings are placed in a plastic bag then they are stacked in the corner. CONCEPT Our goal was to consider how to make this more efficient while at the same time designing something with more dignity. One place to start was to give each occupant a sense of their own space. The next was what would be the efficient way to stack what we design. We had to make sure anyone can maneuver what we designed and also be aware of the health issues in a shelter.
